I'm off around 5pm tonight on the P881R so assuming I make the start I'll have some idea how much my power is down before the F11 on Mon.

20:20 off 267w is pretty slippery. My pb of 21:53 was off about 265w on the f11/10. I've improved my aeros a bit since then and think I'm hovering around .2 (from race data with traffic)... Maybe I should go back.

Also, that tandem is a beast. You would really have to trust your pilot if you were on the back.

At first look it looks like my cda for today was around 0.175

Also I need a bigger chainring for these quick courses. Was spinning out 50x11

Ski-bend extensions seem to be where it's at: yes/no?
Assuming yes, what can I get by next weekend?
-
• #14112
Wouldn't you want a bit more time to test the position before a race though?
lol, I'm a total hypocrite.

Balls first or GTFO.
Current S-bends are too short, so it seems like as good an opportunity as any to try something else.

• #14115
Well done! That's an astonishing time given your recent endeavours.

yes/no?
That does seem to be where a lot of well tested people end up.
Totalcycling have USE in stock in 20°,30° and 50° in metal and all the angles in crabon, so I'm guessing you're looking for 40° alloy :-)
Evans have 3T alloy shorts. I'm using carbon shorts and they are long enough to be 3cm illegal if I run them all the way forward and plenty tall enough on the Ventus. IIRC, the non-short version is the same overall length but is taller to cope with tribars which have more stack between the extension clamp and the pads.

Much obliged!
Any tips for gauging wrist-angle, or a "generally good for most people" suggestion?
EDIT
I have a goniometer... -

Well done. Now you need to switch clubs and do it all again!

I have the zipp Evo 110 extensions, very long and pretty comfy, they also allow me to get my hands very close together whislt still having my elbows not need be super narrow.

He he. Nah, now I can sell the TT bike and start homebrewing instead.

It felt pretty easy until mile 8 when I thought it was all over. Held it together but had no idea of time until I got back to HQ. Nice roads on the P881R.

Got the Westerley list? :)

I saw the update on your CP and was going to ask what you were using.

Spacer now removed from gxp bottom bracket and there seems to be no way to fit the 53t chainring on the inside position of the cranks. Chainring rubs on the chainstay no matter what.
Chainring now fitted to the normal (outside) position and the chainline isn't ideal. As a bit of a bodge I therefore popped the 2.5mm bb spacer behind the fixed sprocket to move it out a bit. Chainline is improved and there is plenty of thread engagement on both sprocket and lockring... Is it going to kill me? chain/sprocket still making a bit of noise, but hopefully OK.
Chain tensioning is also a complete arse since the chaintugs I ordered don't fit.
I chipped 4 secs off my PB on the F11/10 today but the hill was pretty sketchy as I hit it just as a heavy shower started.
