How come centre lock over bolt on?
Looks like it will be a sweet ride. Very much what I am pondering about for myself. Are you going to be using some kind of rando bag out front? -

Not sure how I've only just seen this thread. Proper dream bike territory for me. Serious envy JB, I can't wait to see how it turns out (metal flake woohoo!)

Schmidt delux
I don't really know much about the hubs, but why not the SP? It would be cheaper no? Is schmidt noticeably better? Or can you not get them?

I've got those CL RS4's on my Bowman and they're lovely. I'd read reports that they were quieter than the RS Mono's but it's all lies.
The CL SP/Edelux combo is what I've got on the tandem. Bright enough to light up the darkest of nights. You going for a USB charging device too? -

How come centre lock over bolt on?
I've got both, have to say I prefer CL over ISO, quicker, simpler, and allows the use of the finned Freeza (or however they are spelled) rotors.

How come centre lock over bolt on?
As much as I liked bolt on, centerlock is definitely more reliable nowadays, and so much more conveniences.
Thru-axles version required a different tool instead of the cassette one tho.

@Hulsroy purely cause of them sexy new rotors. No bag no, will be using frame bags.
@spotter Schmidt is 33% off for me and this bike is dreambike soooo.....
@7ven no. I've found that I never really use it on my Luxos U, so I am just gonna use Anker battery chargers. Am happy with how they perform and it leaves my lights to just be lights. Also - no messy USB cables. Trying to hide as much cable as possible with this bike.

Is this gonna be a Hartley / Talbot tig collab?
-
• #164
Na. Talbot.
-
• #165
Why tig welded over fillet brazed? Not a criticism, I have two tig welded frames but thought Talbot was better known for brazed.
-
• #166
Why tig welded over fillet brazed?
Technically better, fillet brazed just look good (as well as being flexible in frame geometry).
-
• #167
Stronger, lighter, better looking...
Why would you do anything other than tig?
Fillet brazing is for mamils buying feathers.
-
• #168
Matt is TIGing mostly now. Cheaper better stronger lighter etc
-

Ha, almost added technologic to the end of my list!

Which rims ?
Ryde Pulse Comp Disc, Belgium Plus Disc or Grails? Or something else? Unsure.....
-
• #172
Belgium
-
• #173
Whichever is lighter TBH, I honestly don't see why manufacturer still make disc rims almost as thick as normal rims.
-
• #174
I wonder if anyone heard of DCR?

Can you get Enve? you can get their disc rims that weight less than 400g.
So 6 bolt front center lock rear?
