I think Eingang is making some very good choices in terms of the cost/weight balance.
My "porky" saddle, if I'd bought it new, would have been £330, the post (which I did buy new) is £160 RRP- that's £490 to be 30g heavier than Eingang's combination.

lol .. saddle's are not a WW choice in my opinion, it's what fits the bum and if a light one fits then all the better!

I dunno you can usually find a decent all carbon copy of you're favourate shape. The more refined of which will have a decent flex pattern designed into the carbon lay up.
So as long as you dont usually go for highly padded saddles its resonable. I've seen some nice carbon SLR copies around. But my SLR is yellow.
Colour is of course the first factor in choosing a saddle.
