wow... very very nice. I love that it totally embraces the surroundings rather than destroy it in order to impose itself.
I'd live there. Easy. Raw Concrete, raw wood and glass. I'm coooomiiiing.

That's whose show it is at the PM Gallery in Ealing. Apart from the furniture she did some really great prints too.

Plot of land is around $30k US. It's only three hours from BA so land prices reflect. Move further south and things are a lot cheaper. No idea what the house costs though.

He's right. Ken Livingstone's policy of facilitating the construction of tall buildings was one that I fundamentally disagreed with. Unfortunately, while there was a brief hiatus in actually starting work on some of them, they still keep coming. I think the 'deformed walkie-talkie' has just been given planning permission. :(

The Wimpy in my hometown was brutal. Friars Square represent. Bits of Clockwork Orange were filmed but not used in and around the market square

King's College, Chancery Lane

Absolutely, I love that building! Incredibly elegant.

It could do with better proportions, but apart from that it is a very nice building for sure. The interior rebuild that they carried out when they turned it into the Maughan Library was seriously cheap and unsympathetic, though (apart from a few rooms).
