set for demolition
sad tale but in fairness the figures just dont make real estate sense. it would be nice to live in it for six months though.

you'll have to do some pausing to enjoy the buildings which is a shame as the music is lovely. alternative is to watch it twice :-)

The plan is particularly unusable though and why spend all that money and not have the picture window flush with the floor?
Nice renders though

Also, going back to Erno Goldfinger:
You can take a tour of his house between March and October

Definitely going to do this soon

Might have unwittingly gone past that on a bus.
Tour sounds interesting.

I couldn't agree more.

Convincingly written. I've always liked London's lack of oppressively tall buildings, but they're an inevitability so long as the culprit, no doubt finance, pushes them up.

Reading 'Re-inventing Construction' at the moment, really good stuff. A couple of my favourite so far:
R128 house by Werner Sobek, Stuttgart
SOS Children's Village Community Center, Chicago
Ford Calumet Environmental Center, Chicago
Korean Pavillion at the Expo 2010, Shanghai
