I just bought these, not sure if they'd fit better in the trainers thread (hipster collab status) or here.

Aske's fucked up my maths education too.
I'd guess at '98- so nearly a decade after me.
Whippersnapper.

Had a wee spin down to TK Maxx this afternoon to get some boots for winter. Ended up walking away with these:
£69.99 instead of the laughable £165 that Superdry once sold them for.

They've had loads of weird stuff in there lately, did you see those blue suede Tricker's loafers? Not been that impressed with the stuff in there so far, the missus has had way more luck...
I'm sure patience will pay off in the end... -

Could someone send me a pic of the size 11 loakes? if they happen to be in TK maxx Brixton tomorrow?

High St Ken TKM generally has some great stuff, lots of Bass Weejun penny loafers recently... £40-£50... Sadly, none in my size tho'...

Has anyone been up to Northampton lately? All I seem to hear these days is that regular sizes (e.g 9 to 11) have very limited choice and 2nds are being sent out to their stores for the sales these days. It's a long way to go and come back empty handed.

Third soaping of my 20 pound desert boots.
They're now looking good (added leather laces, dubin and plenty of walks) and really comfy (the saddle soap has softened them up and the DIY leather trimming of the heels helped).
The leather is un-doubtedly pretty cheap stuff but I'm more than happy with them as a winter, do everything boot.

Where in Northampton?
I have first hand exp with Lobb's quality dept and know them quite well. They reject over the slightest detail, a scar on the leather, a tiny mark etc. Nothing to worry about (but then you are still paying £300 as opposed to £600+). Last time I went they had stacks, but it is pot luck and it is busy on a Sat with people buying 3x pairs at a time. Regular sizes don't hang around long.
Haven't been to Churches or others for a long time, I think your best bet would be get an early train (bring bike) and whip around the various factories.Has anyone been up to Northampton lately? Yeah, I went to Askes for sixth form. Before that roaming the streets of Lewisham and Deptford.
