Whatever it is with YOU and Garmins you better get it sorted if you would like to finish these kind of rides.

I'm annoyed that I DNF'd my audax. I've known about Garmin suckage for some time. The 800 has been far more reliable than the 810... until I sent the 810 back for a refund. Le sigh.

I'll buy it off you, fill it full of my shit and send it to Garmin's engineering dept.

The last 600 I did I had an 800 and 810 and my phone. Both Garmins failed and I ended up looking up the finish address on my mobile. Maybe I should just find a waterproof case for my phone and use that?

I had the route sheet printed out but because I had no distance (well, inaccurate distance because the etrex was running from home and I started the audax from a random point on the course) I couldn't find the right point in the sheet to kick it off again. I thought I had the road but the next direction didn't match so I gave up and headed to Bath so at least I'd know how to get home.
