  • I know Gloucester Road well after living in Bath for 10 years. I guess Camden is pretty close in terms of feel and it's not all metal. If you live in Camden it's pretty easy to get to Islington too. I live in Archway, because I prefer not to be right in the thick of it, but within easy reach. Good luck with the flat hunt!

  • thats good to hear camden sounded cool. is shoreditch to cool for school? (utterly hipsterfied) hiphop in chelsea? really?

  • Don't move to Streatham...

  • On no account should you consider south London, it's totally metal.

  • ha^^^ snap

  • I did a search on here is east really the place to be?

  • hiphop is in chelsea and kensington.

Or this^. (It's Hip-Hop, but not really Gangsta enough).

    Islington on other hand.

  • @psykx

    Have you got any children?

  • 'I might get the chance to work a cool job in central london (kinda islington)'

Sounds like an unpaid 'internship' ... hope not for your sake ...

    haha just watched this.

it's a cool job for a highly skilled techy so it's well paid, and by cool I really mean music related. No I've got no kids, I'm 25 and single. and male.. I'm not really ganster either more soul breaks and electro I just don't want to be in a overly metal area.

  • north kensington

  • Come to Clapton then. You'll $ave in rent so you can replace your (stolen) bike every fortnight. ;D

  • Lovely apart from thuggery.

  • Somewhere in south London, yesterday...

  • Missing the "N"

  • I just don't want to be in a overly metal area.

Stay away from Golders Green. And Silvertown.

  • On reflection, I recommend you live in Purley.

  • Sheen...

  • Or maybe Penge...

  • Wales.

  • Yeah Camden and Kentish Town are cool.
If the postcode begins with N then mostly you can't go wrong unless it is N17

  • Wales.

That bad huh? I would love to live in north wales with the mountains, but I love music and being able to afford food so working in cities wins for the time being.

  • I have briefly stayed in Stoke Newington, Borough and Shoreditch. All pretty good and convenient ! IMO.

  • Skully and Teenslain both getting rep!

  • N16 (Stokey) is great, but ridiculously overpriced for what you normally get.
