fulcrums dgo, i agree :P
altought in the conti vs vittoria debate, i just have to say GP400 wins over Diamante any day, i have used both and now I have fallen for Conti
performance wise De Rosa were claiming it to be world's lightest steel frame (So was milani with their bike) -
• #978
How so? Diamante are lighter, have a higher max. inflation and are like half the price of GP4000's.
How light was the frame? Ask tynan about claimed weights.. :)
-
• #979
they were saying 1.2kgs
and yes diamante's are cheaper but conti have really good grip (thts my criteria) and colors add hipster value
now you are confusing me as i m about to buy new set of tyres soon :P
they are almost same cost in Condor?! -

should have taken a picture of the De Rosa opposite the steel one. The purple sparkly frame was a beauty.

Baum 1kg 953: http://www.lfgss.com/post1532889-149.html
I had a look and they are similar prices at CRC (Conti say £37.95 on their site WTF)
£33 from CRC. Diamante are £29. GP4000 might be good but they're Conti so every 3rd one you buy will suffer some kind of catastrophic failure in your A race. :) -

Dugasts and Vittorias have now been seen failing at the sidewalls, Hippy. The world is doomed.

^^awesome
The wall looked amazing, so much work. -

Every manufacturer there seemed to think it was compulsory to have a steel/retro/fixie bike among their latest carbon and aluminium range. It got bit repetitive after a while.
I enjoyed the show but was somewhat disappointed by my inability to buy anything. I came down ready to spend some cash on various bits and pieces but was repeatedly told that they weren't selling anything. I eventually found the 'cycle store' section but all that was for sale was clothing. Glad I went, but I don't think I'll bother going again.
Anybody else feel the same?

timelapse of the mosaic build
^^ censored; there was a lot more 'builder's bum' on display at the time.

A stroke of genius idea to take that brillian time-lapse video.
Wish I had the time to get to the show - if only to see the LFGSS stand

It's like a giant Excel spreadsheet, letters one way and numbers the other.

Hey, sorry, I'm still in the nursery so can't start a new thread, but does anyone know if Niki Croft was ok after his accident today? It looked pretty brutal and I can't seem to find out what happened after the apparently had to be medivacked out of the show.

Z1 Track is £4100 F+F. And actually looks worth it.
Reckon they'd drill me a brake hole and add some mudguard eyelets for that? :)
Coz it's fugly.
Fulcrum 3s with Brooks and brown tape. What is it supposed to be?
Now that you mention it, it's also Campag with Conti tyres so possibly the worst bike ever built. :)
