  • Saw it today

    SERIOUSLY IMPRESSIVE!

  • Made it to the Show today...The Photo wall was Pukka....nice to meet a few more faces from the Site....
Almost convinced 2 of my mates to go Singlespeed too....

  • Not looking forward to epic journey on polo gear

You'll manage, easy peasy... The polo steed is my all-round commuter/pub/shop bike these days, spinny-winny... I have an awesomely quick route if you need it...

  • The one that goes by the Effra?

  • Ouch...

  • Just had a look at the floorplan. It's one of the worst I've seen in years. It's net even that big of a show so you'd think they could organise the stand numbers properly.

  • Can one bring tramp beers in to the cycle show?

If yes, will be there tomorrow.

  • Saw it at the show today, very impressed. Looked very cool. Must've taken alot of hours hard work. Great job!

    Yup :)

Turns out it's only 6 miles. Too much spinny on a Sunday isn't fun though. Yes please on the quick route TS!

Eggpie, I have the Polo Manual for you.

Could someone remind me which stand it is?

  • Its E21a Joni

    See you there

  • I thought the LFGSS was good, the photo wall was ace and the used commuter bike really stood out.

I thought that british designed and made bikes were massively under represented though in the show. where were charge, dmr, on-one, etc?

There is a new big cycle show in January at Excel attached to the Outdoor expo. Madison (Shimano, Giro etc) is only showing there so other brands might be too. Cycle Show moving to NEC next year.

  • I have a spare comp pass if anyone is going to be there around 10:15- 10:30 and wants in.

    text GONE GONE

Will edit this post once it' is claimed.

It's not moving, 6-9 oct 2011 at earls court.
The one attached to the outdoors expo is separate, I hope they don't expect us to work at that one as well! one day this year was enough to flatten me. I feel sorry for the guys working yesterday and today.

Andy, the events director of the Cycle Show says it's definitely moving it to the NEC next year. He had 20 different brands telling him they won' show if it's in London. They say it appears to London-centric. The weird thing is I didn't know other cities had bikes...or electricity to make a big show like this run. cool!

  • BicyceImages says thank you to everyone who helped with the stand and all the 'big-ups' here. Ben Broomfield took some nice shots of the set up.

    Sounds correct

Funny how they changed their tune in the space of 48 hours.
I am kind of relieved, now the north west and midlands BC staff can work themselves into the ground instead of us.

  • Just got back from the show - top effort all round. Nice speaking with you, Mr Cornelius Blackfoot.

  • I didn't take many photos yesterday but the Colnago classic style fixedwheel and those on the Condor stand were definitely drool worthy.
