  • did anyone else see this, and like me think isn't that dancing james? Probably isn't due to the lack of rapha, but does he have a doppleganger out there?

    from this gallery of guardian bike show photo's

    That guy is a tit. I was chatting to HED about Tokyo Fixed Gear (Max, give them a call) and that guy just barged in and started trying to blag wheels. Unfucking believable. I didn't get a look at his badge, but I'm pretty sure it says "tithead" on it.

    Does all the shiny new product have RRP displayed? Want to check out new Shimano wheelz for 2011 but no-one knew the prices a few weeks ago.

    Most of it does. So you should be fine. Bear in mind that this is primarily a trade show so prices for trade have almost definitely been set for stuff to be displayed.

  • Great stand!
    I have polo leaflets now..
    Had a nice chat with my baby boy strapped to my chest

    good to meet you, mr harrong. Come down and play anytime..

  • I will be dropping by the show this afternoon, will definitely drop by and say hello. Is there a secret handshake or code phrase I need to know?

  • Great stand people, pics wall was indeed awesome and was very good to meet the volunteers; Sumo (easy to remember ) and Jeff? (less easy to remember - probably because its your name and therefore my chocolate raison brain forgets it immediately!) the lawyer who gave me good advice for a forthcoming court battle!
    Goodluck with the rest of the day and tomoz!

  • Great to meet you and thanks for the discount code. Spent the savings ona ridiculously expensive pint though!

  • I too had a great day today, saw plenty of lovely bikes and had a good mooch round the stand. The photo wall looks excellent- cheers to the Charge-riding lawyer (sorry, I'm awful with names!) for an interesting chat.

    Picked up a nice Torm jersey and base layer too, and had a good chat with those guys as well.
    Personal highlight was checking out Boardmans 92 Olympics Lotus bike, an amazing piece of kit.

    All in all, a nicely well organised show, managed to get the bike security marked by OB too.

  • Absolutely brilliant. The wall was truly amazing. Great to see so many people there and to meet some new ones.

    Especial thanks to VB for introducing me to the new object of my desire.

  • That the 29er clive?

  • oh my! the wall is pure kick ass! good work!

  • No. A Parlee at the Bespoke Cycling stand. Turns out I knew Barry from Bespoke from the Tour of Ireland and Tour of Wessex - not that he rode with me but a long way ahead of me. Beautiful bicycles. Really beautiful. And carbon that could take my weight. A miracle.

  • the wall was ace.. good job.

    i guess if you give me your cross bike there will be room in the stable for a nice parlee. they are black too so the good lady will not notice another 4k bike.

  • 4k would be a little optimistic. I will need to keep my cross bike and train more with it on the road because the Parlee would only be going out on high days and holidays. It was awesome. A one finger bike and a little finger at that and as stiff as stiff can be.

  • Those parlee's were pure porn. And everything at the Look stand.

  • The Parlee are lovely, especially this one;

    Would very much rather a steel IF though.

  • That frame with no decals and record or super record. Black bar tape and saddle. Wet dream.

    I love the matt black carbon look.

  • Wax polished bare carbon = drool

    Spent ages on that stand just leching

  • Is that parlee had mavic cosmic wheels on then it would be perfect.

  • Not even the Cinelli with the new Columbus XCr tubing?

    Excuse the photos, was a bit hard trying to get a good shot of it in a very small stand and awkward lighting.

  • Nice to be able to put faces to a few more forum names. And Oscar is well pleased with his hat. Managed to prise it off him at bed time. With some difficulty.

  • I thought the LFGSS was good, the photo wall was ace and the used commuter bike really stood out.

    I thought that british designed and made bikes were massively under represented though in the show. where were charge, dmr, on-one, etc?

  • My favourite in the show is the blindspot of the lorry for the reason below this image;

    It look uncannily like an ASL;

  • So what time do you want us there tomorrow VB? Not looking forward to epic journey on polo gear but looking forward to representing.

  • Cycle Show all in all rocked! The photo wall came out way better than I imagined, well done everyone involved. Good to meet some more forum peeps today! Good luck for tomorrow!

  • You'll need to get there for 9:30am.

    The security door is near Gate B which is to the left side of the building (from the Earl's Court Station side).
