I meant... small cottage industries and groups within LFGSS that want a presence on the stall.

Rather than volunteers and such to put it together.

Though with a volunteer list we've so far got:

1. Velocio - General crap, manning the stall, set up and tear down
   
2. ade - Help in designing the stall
   
3. Fox - Help with general crap and perhaps manning the stall
   
4. Aroogah - Manning the stall.
   
5. Cheesecake - Will already be there for various reasons. Manning stall/Beer distribution/Megaphone abuse.
   
   

Is that right so far? Feel free to change stuff.

PS - We NEED a megaphone. I vote for Hippy to supply one.

Cool - not too late then.

I'd definitely play the following cards:

• We are poor little self-funding orphans against the might of giant big moola evil brands like Specialized
  
• We are essentially a volunteer organisation which aims to cover it's costs, no more
  
• Having a stand would be a big thing for us and if we had a stand we would promote the show to our 15k (or whatever it is) members and encourage them to come.
  
  
  

I haven't been given a price yet. I phoned, spoke to the woman, told her the size I was interested in, she's sending paperwork + details and has reserved the slot... take it from there shortly.

PS - We NEED a megaphone. I vote for Hippy to supply one.

On list: I'm happy to compile video materials with a stills montage to show, if the AV idea happens. Might be able to swing some kit but also know that others on the forum may be able to help with that more easily (Brave?)

I should be back for october, fingers crossed, as I need to finance the last part of my trip so if you need loud voice, let me know.
In all seriousness, think this is a great idea, as a way to promote the lfgss community, lets talk spoke cards for beers, compass rides, bright times, (obvious personal interest) as well as info on the other things we are passionate about, could we get some of the cycle training bods down as well, wiganwill, multigrooves, skydancer, and info about safer riding, trucks turning left etc.
