Have pasta no sauce. Definitely.

I've spent the last 10 days eating pancakes, cheese and stroopwafels. So it was a surprise when yesterday I got back from holiday and I weighed myself to find I'd gone under 66kg - I'm now 65.4kg. Well done me. I might have more cheese to celebrate.

Hit an all time low (high) last week. 90kg and unfit.
Still fairly unfit but 86.6 kg now. I'm the biggest loser.

10kg more than me.

Yeah. So you strap a 10kg plate on your back next time you go for a bike ride then come and tell me you enjoy hills ;-)

I'm 25kg heavier than the Mrs and she still complains about hills!

I'm 42kg heavier than the Mrs and she complains about most things!

I was over 85Kg in the spring, and in great shape.
I'm now 80kg (i think), and in great shape.
I dont know about cycling, my climbing has varied mainly due to injuries, and sickness. But on runs which I do several times a week. My climbing, and acceleration is much improved. I can see it clearly comparing pace vs heart rate on steep climbs. I guess it must translate to cycling pretty linearly.
I've been pretty careful to cut down the amount of upper body weight training I do, and have cut out protein shakes. Which, when you replace gym time, with bike/running time, and cut out snacking. Is what gave the weight loss.

3 weeks of binging. I think I should stop now. My liver will thank me and there's a hill climb to do otherwise the S-Works cries.

So ended up at the doctors last week with a sore rib.
Turns out I've torn a muscle on my rib cage and and have a chest infection.
Just as I started to see some major progress in the gym. I can't even put any weight on it whatsoever, even lifting wallpaper at the weekend was agony.
So now I'm facing hardly eating anything in order to keep my current weight and probably loosing some muscle mass.
I'm going to try the gym to lift some weights without engaging my chest. Not sure how possible this is.

My plan to lose some weight coincided with some chocolate and beer (not at the same time). This is not going to end well...

back on the health kick now, 1800kcal a day plus whatever I burn off through exercise. aim is to lose 2lb a week but will see how it goes.

Are you training for the ice cream challenge?

76.2 this morning, with a bit of willpower I might get to 75.something by Sunday- be interesting to see how being 4kg lighter affects my climbing.

I've put weight on because I can't seem to stop eating loads and loads of food. I wonder how being just as porky as I've ever been is going to affect my climbing?
-
• #7069
I'd start by getting a lighter bike and ditching the large coat and trackies.

Down to 71kg. At this rate, will be under 70 by next weekend. Undoing effects of injury forcing me out of the gym.

Nearly finished a goodly proportion of the 3lb cream & sponge cake bought from Chinatown for the Mrs' birthday on Thursday. TNRC prep, innit?

I don't need to train for that.
No, I'm just enjoying doing other things to excess rather than riding.
76.3 this morning, can I hit 75 for ROTFL?
