  • Nope. Is it banned?

Dont use it everyday like one of these chumps.

It is a powerful mix of stuff that will help you train harder, you will especially feel the benefit if you are tired/hungry and lacking energy.

If you are already on a very restricted diet and struggling to get in quality training, excellent time to use it. It will help you blood flow, oxygenation, breathing, appetite suppression, nervous system stimulation and more

    It works really well.

  • So living in hotels with free food doesn't help weight loss. I've been living on expenses, so eating big meals and so on for a while now.

Realized I need to stop this today when I noticed I've gone out a belt notch. So, throwing away the carbs to get back into ketosis for a bit. Might as well do it here in a hotel, since I can get them to cook me low/no-carb food. Going to use the pool as well.

Aim is to drop under 80kg in 2 weeks. Think that's only a 5kg loss, will find out later. Going to really miss the beer :S

Is that delicious beer in pic #6? I approve of this kind of meal.

Edit: Oh, no, it's two glasses of Coke. Disgusting. Even worse than the picture of the green filth in the first slide.

  • I saw that and became happy then read it was coke :(

  • 102kg this morning

  • Does anyone know where one could potentially acquire a proper ECA stack?

  • Thought that stuff was illegal these days?

  • Started full time work as a tree surgeon again last week after 18months doing other things.
Thank fuck for this thread or I'd have been horribly out of shape for the work.

  • Thought that stuff was illegal these days?

Ah poo. Don't think I can be arsed if it's on the sly.

  • 75.5 today, so back where I was before the weekend!

I think celebrating a new PB two days in a row was a bit over the top, hopefully I'll have another few good weeks before I find something to celebrate!

About 60 days to till the marathon, aim is to be as close to 70kg as possible without inhibiting training. We shall see...

Ephedrine - chesteze (one pack per person usually)
    Caffeine - tabs from myprotein
    Aspirin - anywhere

    All legal.

Chest eze already has Caffeine and Theophylline in it.

If you want Ephedra on its own you can get Pseudoephedrine in Sudafed tablets.

I would never use it for the fat loss purpose though. Like I previously stated, stimulants are good for helping you exercise harder when on extreme diets (they also suppress appetite).

For a long term everyday fat burning boost, I would just guzzle Green Tea. (Yes I know it has caffeine in it)

  • In a couple weeks I'll be back doing a physical job, while having to cut and train hard both for a wrestling comp and a climbing trip.

I'm competing at 81kg at the end of April so I have to be that weight by then but I want to be able to train as much as possible on the run up. The plan is to use ECA on the days when I'm struggling. I have around 8 weeks to lose 5kg, which is a pretty reasonable time frame to do so with just a decent diet plan.

  • Here is an excellent guide to temporary pre comp weight loss;

  • Cheers man.
I'm not exactly sure what the weigh in procedure is going to be (although I'm going to try and find out). The other problem is that the comp is in Iceland and I have no idea what facilities will be available but it sounds simple enough to be doable where ever.

If I could actually make the 5kg cut just by doing that I'd be psyched!

  • I forced my brother to low carb for when he wanted to lose lots of weight in like 3 weeks. The first week would have just been lost water weight before ketosis kicked in. 5kg came off easy.

But it would depend on how big you are, how much tissue and therefore stored glycogen and water you have in you!

  • Yeah, I'll be going back on a keto diet to shed the weight but I'd still like a backup plan if I get nearer the date and I'm not close enough!

  • Any gym recommendations around the Goodge St/Tottenham court road area? I am particularly interested in somewhere that might have equipment like rings or TRX stuff and maybe a pool. I can't lift weights properly due to my hip being messed up by a previous powerlifting habit.

  • There is nothing like putting clothes through a 60 wash to make you realise you apparent weight loss may have been an illusion.

    YMCA just off TCR?

  • Back on the low carb as of today - eugh.

  • Bit of advice, on day shifts at work I get up at 5, set off cycling about 25 past, ride 8.5 miles, shower and start work at 7.

What I've found is that I can survive till 10-11 without food (a couple of coffees and plenty water) easy enough, at which point I have fruit and yoghurt. Then around half 1 I have lunch of 2.25 ounces of wholemeal pasta, a chicken breast, 4 or 5 mushrooms and a courgettes mixed together, then a yoghurt.

I've found I'm struggling to eat lunch, is what I'm doing bad for me?

People say breakfast is important, but then for fat burning they say exercising first thing on an empty stomach is a good thing...

I find if I eat earlier, I get hungry for lunch earlier, and this can lead to cravings mid afternoon.

    Any advice?

  • Small meals and lots of snacking on dried or fresh fruit seems to be doing the trick for me. Gotta do brekkie though! Big bowl of oatmeal with apple, honey, yoghurt and cinnamon keeps me going for aaages.
Been trying to ride 30 miles a day as well as my 10 commuter miles, normally after breakfast/before work. I don't know how sustainable it is going to be though!

  • Cycling on empty is fine (particularly such short distances) but yeah eat something when you get in.
