    sixpack yet Salter reckons I am 29% BF.

    For many years I was measured by the same person with calipers so have a good idea of what my BF% is relative to my appearance.

    Yeah did that, then took them back to Argos and tried some others.

    Skin calipers work, but they are only as good as the person who does them.

  • Those things (some digital scales and also hand held gizmos) that purport to measure body fat percentage by passing an electrical current through the body - are they actually accurate? Seems like witchcraft to me.

  • My take on those is that they provide a point of reference if you use them over time- what they say may not be accurate in terms of the number they display, but the trend is interesting.

    i.e. when they show a downward trend my sixpack does appear, and when the figures trend upward as they do at the moment I am indeed a fat cunt.

    I qualify for front row with my 85.5Kg.

    I tend to get fecked up nearly every 15s match though. I'm also too heavy and slow to play sevens without my lungs inverting.
