So doing my weekly weigh in this morning as a long run tomorrow distorts everything...
69.3kg
1 week to go eyebrows!
Weird thing is that I haven't run since tuesday so I haven't done anything to really dehydrate myself, been to the gym 2 times so its not muscle loss and I'm beginning to look pretty well defined.
Revised target is 68kg because I can and it'll help keep me focussed for the next week then I'll have to forget competition as I need to focus on training hard...

It's so hard to keep up with these LFGSS fads - is it trendy to gain weight now? So which cake do you find most effective for mid-morning snacks? I find that Kipling bakewell slices suppress my appetite for too long, so I've just got some packs of lard in my desk which I lick lick lollipops throughout the day.

Sparky keep at it mate.
I hit 1557 calories yesterday, this was with no exercise. Sure it took at bit of thinking but I wasn't starving all day.
Today's target is 1600 again should be able to do it, keeping myself full between 6.30 (breakfast) and lunch (12ish) is the hardest problem, at the moment drinking coffee (9ish) and water is helping a lot.
If my calories stay at 1600 a day this is at least a 400cal difference a day to what I should be eating.
On the weekends I'm a little more laxed, more so Saturday when I have my long weekly ride, but the feelings of wanting to eat everything in the house are combated by protein shake within 20 minutes of returning home. -

Oops yes meant 68kg...
Also if anyone does want a box of bars (18) mentioned on the last page let me know, £5 and all proceeds go to sports relief.
Can get the pecan, cashew or choco orange. I'm not posting so you'd have to collect from souths on monday...
-
• #3338
I'd like a box. Just the chances to get to the Souths are slim. We'll see.
-
• #3339
I'd be in for a box too, but uni on monday evenings. Based in Holborn though if you are central way?

I'm afraid its souths or nothing, sorry...

My opinion* on the cycle commute is that once your body is used to the effort, you expend very minimal calorie burn.
So I'd always under state my calorific expenditure of your commute to work.
Training is a different matter.
- I am no expert!
Law of thermodynamics computer says no.
If you are doing work (moving a mass at a given speed) you will expend energy and all other things being equal the same journey at same speed will expend same energy and burn same calories any time you do it.
You might become slightly more efficient over time and your calories burnt as input might drop a couple of % but it's going to be negligible.

I could do with one if you'll let me pick up over the weekend?
I'm not going to catch you. Have stopped losing weight, because my muscle gain is overcoming any fat loss- or at least that's my hypothesis as I look thinner each day, and my arms have grown as have the legs.
Will weigh in on Monday, at home and away from scales all weekend. -

Away from london all weekend henry but I have a box of pecan ones with your name on it for when we do burgers anyway.
I'm a bit concerned as someone at work described me as skeletal today :s
I was eating kangaroo before it was cool.
