4 nakd bars for my run + some energy gels if I can be bothered
Protein shake with milk for lunch
Crisps and beer for an afternoon snack
Scallops and pea puree
Vegetable lasagne
Chocolate and ginger cheesecake
WineShould do it, but I am running 20 miles this morning!

Weighed in this morning as I'm flying to Edinburgh at some ungodly hour tomorrow: 85kg. That's the least I've weighed since I started my own chart in November 2010. It was also the target I set myself, which I now think could be lower. Might head for 80kg, then try and hover around there.

Nice one sparky!
Always good when concerted effort pays off!
Still 68.7kg post run and rehydration so pretty pleased.
Now time to relax!

I think I really need to do something soon.
My weight should be around the 70-73kg mark.
Currently sat at more like 85-86kg and really feeling it, I don't even vaguely look like myself!
Compared to this time last year, I know I'm eating less, a LOT less, I'm borderline not excersizing (well, an hour a day of being dragged around by 2 dogs) thanks to being rubbish and suffering from some illness thing which keeps me locked up (its complicated and doc's are still working out what it is/ how to get rid of it, been ongoing for 3month).IN the next week will have some rollers sorted so I can at least do something even when the weather is shit, has anyone got any advice for someone starting from scratch (again)? last year I got to a pretty decent fitness and was starting to shed some weight (went from 88kg down to about 80 over 6month and felt a LOT better) but then I got ill again and now i'm the worst i've ever been, need to do something about it can't stand feeling like this!
Will probably have to work out what I actually eat in a day, one mans moursal is another mans feast! -

Register on MyFitnessPal: I've found it really useful.

I think I really need to do something soon.
Just do it!®
Register yourself with that myfitnesspal or http://www.sparkpeople.com and do it.
I've only been doing it properly for a week and running for a month now, and there are already visible effects (I've lost some weight and can run 3 miles in one go - something I wasn't able to do last month!).
And I'm 10kg fatter than you... -

cheers guys, will have a look at both of those things, never had a clue something like that existed but sounds really useful!
I knew I had to start seriously thinking about my weight when my man boobs rivalled my gf's !

Normally things like this get derailed when the gf comes up for the weekend, but we just made this:
Huge veggie curry and rice, with a toasted pitta: 954 calories (took ages to enter all the ingredients into the website). Had a run earlier, and a healthy lunch, so have added half a bottle of white wine and come in (just) with a deficit for the day. If only I had time to do all this every day. Still, off to Edinburgh for a few days so plenty of time to balls up the whole month...

Tease! The most I have is 500 kcal per meal.

Nice!
When I was living on my own / with others I never ate that much, but then I almost just never had time to actually put food together. Living back at home (!!!!) has its drawbacks, but huge portions of decent proper grub is always a bonus*
*except when I sparky's pile there I would call that an average eve, maybe thats teh problem, I generally eat good food, just FAR too much of it?

Eating smaller volumes has really been an eye-opener these last couple of weeks. I am starting to get used to not feeling physically full, like I usually do after meals. I'd imagine that I'll fall back towards the way I've eaten for years, eventually, although hopefully not all the way back.
This is the largest meal, by far, that I've eaten in the last couple of weeks.

71.7 today, but I don't care.
58 on VO2 max, up a full 6!!!!
FUCK YEAH!!!!Don't suppose they give you this figure in watts?

I was doing so well during the week when I'm cycling 10 miles a day and eating frugally at college then friday and saturday messed everything up again.
-
• #3366
Oh dear. But your only little.
You need a plan if you want it to stick. Some sort of a online programm plus a phone app.
-
• #3367
I have a plan. It's called the 'not being able to afford food at college' diet. But then sumo goes and brings home a giant bucket of beef stew and says it has to be eaten in the next 3 days and I'm not one to waste good food.

Sparky, if you are in in Edinburgh and really wan to fuck up your eating plan go to the Mosque Kitchen and smash their buffet.
-
• #3369
Ha ha ha! I can just imagine Henry dressed in Barbour, waering Hunters with a bucket of stew: "Here, darling! Slim pickings today at LMNH. We shall eat that immedietely!"

shit week for me, no running and eating shit (except the massive veggie stir fry - but the rest was rubbsih)
hopefully this week will lift the mood and the return to more normal evening temperatures will motivate me more
-
• #3371
I'm actually trying to stick to the routine now hoping, that it will be a piece of piss when it finally warms up a bit.

I may just do that, cheers. Whereabouts is it? On another point: how do you estimate calories when out and about? I had a (shit) cooked breakfast at the airport, baguette and crisps today and going out for Mexican now. Want to still fill in myfitnesspal, even if it will just make me cry...
-
• #3373
I just type in a generalization. like breakfast type in all the parts of the breakfast. even over estimate I have done before just to be sure.

Fuuuuu... Made a bean kiev with mango chutney inside for myself and another for my daughter for lunch. Also had an avocado with french dressing and a slice of italian bread.
As she didn't eat it all, I ate most of it. Now I've found out that those two veggie kievs had 660g of carbs and 448 kcal (plus another 200 something kcal of avocado). I'm already 300g over my carbs limit and reached the calories limit for today. I want moar food and had no cardio scheduled for toady!

A question, I'm currently 104kg, I plan to get to about 90kg (think this should be me pretty trim) if my strength remained the same (which it won't, I expect it will increase, but for the sake of the question) at 90kg would I find that my squat max has gone up by 14kg? Is there such correlation between body weight and lifting ability? I've been wondering since seeing a big guy, must have been 20 stone plus, struggling to squat 2 plates the other day...
Were they black or white?
