What are you losing weight for? 65 kg is pretty low already.
I mean Contador is around 62 kg.
This. I'm not really looking to loose any more and from the looks of the safe height/weight chart you don't need to either. I'm using this thread/chart simply as a motivator to keep me exercising and prevent myself from yoyoing up and down wildly.
So far it's working, I have lost a lot but I fully expect it to creep back up as I put muscle back on. I hope everyone sticks this out for a good few months as it'll be interesting to see where everyones weight settles as they train towards specific goals.
If you're exercising more than you were previously and eating more healthily then it's all win. -

Worst thing is- I feel its really noticeable.

I drink plenty of water, usually have at least a pint by lunch then another during the afternoon and another with dinner.
With regards to the protein what should I be taking? Looking at my protein Impact Whey Protein seems like a good price, only 12.99 a kg. But is something like that good for weight loss/ recovery for cycling?
Whey Protien Concentrate (WPC) is probably best for general consumption, muscle recovery and maintaining full feelings. Whey Protien Isolate (WPI) is a more processed, rapidly absorbed form that is generally used during or directly after weight training. Rice based protied is often cheaper and slower to digest than WPC so potentially keep you fuller for longer. Otherwise you can use the old weighloss stables of carrot sticks or celery as a very low calorie, high fibre snack. I'm a fan of a single hard boiled egg as a between meals snack.

Weighed myself this morning for last week - up to 81.4 again, fucks sake.
Seems like the moving house/ eating more, not eating the right things is taking It's toll.
Going to run tonight but these early mornings/ early nights are starting to get hard.

How much power do you think you'd lose if you dropped 20kg Hippy?
All ribbing aside, most of your weight is muscle- so it would need to be a decision based on power to weight for you to want to shed some kgs, and TTing on the flat strikes me as a case where the priorities are "bugger the weight, get the highest FTP ever seen, and be more aero than Concorde"?

I wouldn't lose 20kg. 10kg at the most. 5kg is my goal. I won't lose any power.

...and bumpy celulite, mimicks the R-surface of ripleys aero bikes.
My fat loss seems to be sporatic. I work hard for a week without noticable progress, then wake up one morning looking skinny. I alternate heavy weight training, with long runs/rides. Maybe this is the cause. Logic tells me that slight muscle growth, with slight fat loss, would give a exagerated visiual impact. Starting to want some fat maesuring scales. I guess they're shite. But as long as they are shite in a consistant manner, they'll be useful.
back to 71 dead tonight, would have to have a bad few days not to hit my target this week!
