I've been carbo loading with beer for the last 15 years..

Irisin sounds the business!
As I've all but cut carbs (apart from the obligitory sarnie at work) from my diet, does that mean I can legitimately increase my beer intake? Sounds awesome to me.
Pasta < Beer
Peppered beefsteak(from mince not whole steak) and massive pile of peas, sweetcorn, shrooms and onions for tea earlier. Doesn't quite fill the void still though. At least I'm bothering to cook every night so saving some money on takeaways. -

Carbs rule. spits at Atkins carcass

Meh, I save carbs for the day before long rides nowadays. Doesn't seem to be doing any harm so far. There seems to be enough in the Promax to keep me going til lunch doing a physical job. Used to yam a bacon and hash brown sarnie at around 11 nearly every day (being van-based does that to you). Glad to be shot of it tbh as it always left me feeling pretty lathargic and gacky about an hour later. Not really missing carb based food but well aware they are still required.
Atkins can fuck off, Lady Liz tried that and Dukan, both were pretty much unsustainable in the real world. -

if you want to use fat burners there are plenty of other supplements without the caffeine content of thermobol. some are sans caffeine. supplement industry is BIG business!
if you're going to use a product like this, you will need to test your tolerance to the ingredients first which means you don't start with full dosage... unless of course you are a fucking moron.
Personally I would avoid thermobol and HTFU in the gym

I was only planning on 1 a day. 450mg caffine a day can fuck right off!
More HTFU is def required of course. -

Just drink green tea and drink plenty of water.
-
• #2688
Green tea tastes grim to me. Also. 63.1kg just now. Just need to keep that off til sundays weigh-in.
Got the thermobol for shits and giggles more than anything. Will put it up on here for free if I don't get on with it. -

I fell off the diet wagon last night with a Dominos after screwing up my dinner.

Instead of thermobol, you could just take Green tea capsules- specifically 1 a day high EGCG ones,
I got a tub of 100 for £6 off of eBay.
EGCG does seem to aid and reduce appetite.
Maybe try Cissus Quadrangularis. It has questionable science but appears to aid fat loss whilst preserving lean tissue .These are things that have worked for me, sort of:
I'm taking CQ as it seems to also aid recovery of joint injuries, and it appears to be somewhat doing that.
Green tea- suppresses my appetite incredibly effectively.- the science behind them is 50:50 at best.
From Monday I'll be starting intermittent fasting as well, so should see some results from that over the next month.
I was 73kg this morning, on a side note.
- the science behind them is 50:50 at best.

Next time I fall off the wagon I'm going for an epic thai instead.

Yeah, I have the empty calorie guilt after take away last night... gym kit in my bag and a 5km run as penance.
Hail Mary's if there is any eye candy.

Surprised it took this long for someone to make a point like this.
If you need to take supplements to aid your goals, you need to work harder for it, or be more sensible with your goals. Be a bit more patient with it.
As an aside you'll be more likely to keep it off if you do it the "normal" way. as opposed to using a relatively "quick fix" option.

I just look at it like It's a lot of money. Them thermabol tabs are £20 at the moment. That's for a months worth, what happens after the month if you haven't seen the results you wanted or if you did like the results? You carry on taking them of course.
When you come off them it'll be hard work. I'd just rather not take them in the first place.
-

I did fail to mention the point about coming off them. Surely when you come off them, it'll be much harder to manage your weight than before you started. Which you felt you weren't able to do yourself.
And suddenly you've turned into Sara Goldfarb.
Fuck me I want some chocolate right now.
Could happily nail a big bar of Galaxy after a ride before xmas came around and being good seemed appropriate.
