    :) It's alright - I read the first line or 2 of a few comments. Industrial this, caffeine that... something something heart attacks?..

    I checked up on this stuff earlier in the week and worked out the following m'kay:

    3 x 1 Thermobol tablet p/day = 459mg caffeine
    3 x 12oz glass of water = 36oz

    So, assuming that these will dissolve in the stomach fairly quick, it's going to be the equivalent of 12.75mg p/fl.oz
    Compare that with espresso on the other hand (which I know some people to get through 2 doubles per day) :

    The caffeine content used in the database has been averaged from caffeine testing done on six different espresso servings (each from a different coffee outlet). The caffeine content varied considerably, as did the volume of the serving.

    Values ranged from 58 mgs up to 185mg for a double shot.

    The USDA value for Espresso coffee is 64 mg caffeine per fluid ounce.

    UPDATE: Analysis of 97 different Espresso drinks in Queensland, Australia found a much higher value of 106mg per serve. The range varied enormously (25mg to 214mg). Source: Journal of Food and Chemical Toxicology

    I'm 73.7kg, how the hell people lose weight so fast in this group is beyond me.
    I'm enjoying getting near to my post exam goal of 73kg (the 29th of this month), but revision is meaning I'm only doing an hour a day of good exercise.... will be looking to increase that over the weekend.

    Not so much about losing weight really, just fat... in the last 3 months I've gone from 82kg and 10.4% body fat, to 83kg and 20.1%*

    I expect if I manage a ride similar to today's at least every other day I can get back to about 14.1% within 6 weeks and really ramp it up for another 2 to get to 10-11%.

    Not drinking for 11days did wonders - I've broken the spell Mr.Benson & Mr.Hedge had over me and I'm beginning to feel a hell of a lot more... alive (surprise surprise)

  • If that is the case, try without the Thermabol for a while you will be surprised at just how much of a difference not drinking and smoking will have to your ability to get lean. Out of curiosity how are you measuring your body fat count?

  • Had it done at the gym - electronic hand-held doodad x3 and averaged, and calipers...
    Drinking again now but much reduced. Just needed to give my brain a good chance to disassociate drinking from smoking - went to the pub on Tuesday with no problems at all.

  • Awesome news! It's surprising how much people associate drinking with smoking. Break through one and you'll manage to curb the other no problem.

    I don't hardly drink now and It's doing me wonders, can't really say I miss it much to be honest.

    Someone fucked all the chart up. For some reason all the data on the chart data had moved around. All the colours are screwed on mine as well (on the front sheet anyway, not on the graph)

  • I fixed the chart too and locked the data sheet. So long as the front sheet (the one which people fill in) stays as it is the charts will work.

    Just tapped up Groupon to join club sheen on the thermobol diet. Should be fun! Will have to knock the coffee on the head though.

    EDIT - oh yeah, I see it. Hardly worth looking at yet.

    Slight decrease, flat line then slight rise as I put the weight back on as muscle. In theory...
    The shame of public failure is a great incentive!
