    I'm aiming for target weight by mid feb but happy to pick a date closer to your goal so its fair.

    I think we can be gentlemen about it and take it on word, the groomers up there ^ don't need any more amunition!

    Yeah.

    I've had a good rugby season. Mainly because of fitness. I just want to add usuable bulk, while still be as mobile.

  • went back to rugby training tonight (because I knew it was low contact - can't handle full contact mid week).
    Rediscovered how shit I am at training - feel much more confident during a game for some reason. Ran my balls off for 90 min and must have done over 300 push ups (10 for everyone for each dropped ball - by the end I barely hold my own weight)

    Got home and smashed down 4 slices of granary toast with lurpak, tin of beans, tin of tuna, cheddar and brown sauce on top.

    Upper really. I alread have massive thighs from single speeding up mountions with short legs ;)

    Doing stupid amounts of neck, shoulders, upper back, and chest. I'm in the front row of the scrum, and I a tad small (furry enought though)

    Reason we're in this unholy competition is that we happened to be the same weight on Tuesday, which makes for easy comparison.

    exactly, its either because I know the person too well and don't want to hurt them. or that I know the person too well and I don't want them to hurt me.

    last straw was two completely and utterly awful passes that just went nowhere (20 push ups for everyone) so I decided enough was enough and fucked off.

    thankfully playing 3's means selection isn't based on training attendance. I'll just have to stick to cycling, starting back running, a game on a Saturday and the occasional gym visit for exercise.

    I would join the weight loss competition but my game tuesday was cancelled, mother turned up so i missed wednesdays game now my misses has gone out leaving me with the kids robbing me from training tonight... i then have a two week holiday between now and mid feb..

    it's conspiring against me... only biscuits can help me now

    I find that creatine is a great supplement for adding muscle bulk, and improving explosive strength (so it is great for rugby), if you take it in the right way of course.

    Flavour reccommendations? Presumably at least one of them tastes at least fairly good?

  • which usn did you get? I love the taste of usn stuff, I'd offer to take it off your hands but postage would be awkward.

  • The promax diet alternative, it was £20 so doubt postage would be worthwhile.

    If your in London you can have it for free though.

  • Leeds but good of you to offer cheers! I use a USN protein rather than the diet stuff, so may well be different, but yeah I like the one I've tried.

    Had a free sample of a cherry flavoured whey protein yesterday though, that was pretty nasty.
