I only drink green or peppermint tea whilst at work now. Probably have about 5 cups a day.
As for milk I only tend to drink red skimmed at home, unless we've ran out and I'll have green semi skimmed.

Bananas - and then more bananas. Great way to fill up. Also a great way to get blocked up. So for every banana there should be an apple to ease the flow out of your butt. Warning: this fruit combo may cause the release of toxic gasses.

Yes! Bananas!
...in a chocolate protien shake......mmmm protien.

Almond butter is also your friend. Great in shakes.

On the weight loss thread.

75.3...
But I feel dehydrated this morning- so probably actual weight is a bit higher.
Also I just woke up- which is when i weigh myself.
Need to sort out my sleeping pattern- or weight loss won't happen and neither will the more important revision.Damn!
This could get addictively competitive, I think we may have to make a suitably unsuitable wager on this.
Loser at a predetermined date when your next in london buys the burgers at souths?!

I've made a little bet with myself.
That I can hit 87 Kg by season start. While losing a little fat.
I did think that my new weight training addiction would make it possible. But I'm probably running and cycling too much. Still every couple 100g I can add while maintaining condition will be gold come season start. -

Yeah, pics please (in a homo/rapey way)
What Crispin says..
Ciq has just posted some pics on my Before and After Cycling thread under General...

You're on.
What date- 29th February? (I think its a leap year)
Or sooner- as you want to be at your target weight sometime in february- right?
Photographic evidence required? -

I'm 6ft 2 currently and weight about 13 stone. Plan is to get down to under 12 stone though by April. Ideally I'd like to be 11 and a half but I'm not sure how healthy that is.

As a bona fide racing whippet this might not be the entirely right thread for me but I do care about what I eat and how I eat in terms of fuelling myself and maintaining a correct weight. I don't so much have a problem going overweight but once racing season gets under way I can and do go under weight which really affects my performance.
I've read so many books about sports nutrition but so far only one has really stuck out in terms of "normal" people and a sports diet.
Racing Weight by Matt Fitzgerald (VeloPress) is basically common sense. Not too much science and does not rely on this or that fad..
Might be of use to someone..

Photographic evidence required? When are you in london, think the prize should be awarded on the day of the weigh in!
I'm aiming for target weight by mid feb but happy to pick a date closer to your goal so its fair.
I think we can be gentlemen about it and take it on word, the groomers up there ^ don't need any more amunition!

Looks like a good read. Just read a sample on his website.
Does it have a lot of pictures in or can I get hold of the kindle version?
-
• #2293
I read that recently. Not a lot of new information (most info is in other training/racing books) but it's presented well and in one place which makes it easier to follow a lot of the suggestions specifically oriented towards diet. #notasskinnyasbraveandneverwillbe

A few diagrams and the usual suggested work out routines (drawings). As Hippy says it's all pretty much in one easy read. There is a lot of the usual padding out but chapters 7 - 14 I find really useful.
No idea about kindle version.

Crispin, are you drinking instant or proper coffee?
Instant, I know I know! But I can't be arsed with fresh after years as a total coffee snob.
