Standard answer for Scoot would be eat less exercise more. Just cruising around on the bike isn't a huge calorie burner, maybe throw in some running, or go and do some hill sessions on the bike. Doing 100 sit ups a day will help firm up your stomach muscles but won't do a lot to shift the wobbly bit on top.

You sound normal to me I wouldn't worry about being stick thin.

got an email from a friend today with a 2 week free trial for brit mit fit if i wanted it, i hated it on the one time i tried it but i'll give it a go for 2 weeks and see what i think, but i actually cant think of anything worse than volunteering to be shouted at and reprimanded by anyone.

Well yeah, I'm not fussed about being super skinny I just want to be able to wear skimpy tops and close fitting dresses without having to suck in all the time.

^ That sounds very contradictory doesn't it.

No need to change, keep eating cake on the sofa:

Or liposuction- it works.
In all seriousness, since writing this thread my weight has dropped to 70kgs at best and gone up to 77 at worst, and right now, I'm @ 75 and disappointed.
But- I'm mid exams, and I've been fucking lazy. -
• #1185
When are you allowed to do that?
-
• #1186
72 Kg. According to my doctors scales.
Cake, beer, no training. That's obese for a 3'5" male.

few years.
I'll give it a go with a stanley knife and a Henry hoover if you want though....(dear GMC this is a joke- I am not actually going to do this)

just weighed myself for the first time i can remember just now. 82.5kg, i'm 5'11" and apparently "overweight". HOORAY!
5'10" and 90kg dehydrated. Do I win a fluffy teddy bear?

for some reason I had pictured dooks as at least 6'4....
disappointed I am.

So I'm 5'4, just under 8 stone and generally quite petite, however, over the last year I seem to have grown a bit of a tum and despite cycling most days and eating pretty healthily it just will not go away.
My mum basically told me to HTFU and do 100 sit-ups every night but I feel like that will only solidify my belly into one concave muscle...will someone please tell me there's another way?
Optimise your exercise by adding high calorie burning stuff like running. Then replace high calorie foods with high fibre foods.
Not exactly an original answer.

I've just had some special "anti-fat" chocolate.

• #1192
ex-lax?
-
• #1193
No, I gave it to my girlfriend, then stole 80% back and ate it- but as every one knows it contains no calories if it is food that belongs to someone else.

Thanks for your advice everyone. I've never actively tried to lose weight so all this is quite new to me, I've usually associated calorie counting with annoying girls who have screechy voices and bleached hair, but I'll give it a go.

Just increase the exercise, see where that gets you.
Then, when that fails, it's time for Henry, his friend Stanley, and Henry the Hoover.
-
• #1196
6'5 and 72kg, maybe i should start a weight gaining thread
-
• #1197
Post operation you could empty the Henry Hoover into a blender, add a couple of banana's and you're golden.

I'll just set up a practice:

You can borrow my Dyson to help you with the tricky "starting out" period, I'll clean the plaster dust out and everything.
No point having abs of steel under a layer of blubber- if anything they'll make your belly bigger.
More exercise and fewer calories= less blubber.
