Anyone tried bicycle crunches??? engage the core and rotate your upper body so your elbow touches your opposite knee (moving your legs like you were riding a bike) works the front and side muscles a treat.

When I was back in Oz last, I went to a gay bar called the Market (chaps know how to have a good time, incidentally). Anyway, I was fuck-eyed and dancing to techno with my shirt off. This club has little skinny mirrors around the place... I dont know why but its probably for some reasons related to obtaining man-sex. I caught a glimpse of myself in one, and point to point, my nipples were moving up and down around 4 inches. Having said that, I was boogying my arse off. Moob fail.
No fucking numbers either.
I was sent to a shop called the "Tool Shed" in Sydney by my funny fucker aussie workmates...

I tend to do the less than macho classes at the gym - yoga and pilates
lots of plank work, abs work, press ups etc are included
has done wonders for my core strength
had gastric flu earlier this week, i could projectile vomit the width of a pavement (standing in the gutter i could hit the wall about a foot above the ground)
i think projectile vomitting should be the measure of core strength

To the guy who quoted 'muffin top' - sit ups will do nothing for it, the localised excersise won't burn fat in that particular area of your body, and fat around your gut is the last to go - to get rid of that: calories burned > calories eaten. Every day.

i spent 3 months in finland in a flat with 2 people who avoided contact like the plague.
it was often the case that i'd set the challenge of 200 chinups or 500 pressups, by the time i left i could easily push out a set of 50 pushups in one go and when i'd first arrived i'd barely been able to do 15 without collapsing.where i was in finland was fucking shit, but it was a good place to get strong!
Been doing 1 min with a 20kg plate on my back as a training finisher.
Could probably do 1min10 if I pushed to failure.
Have you seen plank girl on youtube? She can do like 4minutes with 40kg on her back.
