For the record, I've been trying this and have yet to break 15 mins, the guy in the video is an absolute animal [and I am a smoker/drinker/lazybum]. -

I thought he was gonna burp every time he pulled up.
I gave up ages ago, somewhere around 35. I got a rowing machine instead.

Snap, 7 maximum here as well- I have set my target as 10 for now.
I tend to do 7, then 20 sit-ups, then back for 6 pull ups and another 20 sit-ups, repeat until failure.

These pull ups, are they wide grip or close grip, are they behind the neck (if wide) or are they front?
I might give it a go tomorrow morning...

First one Ian, for me anyway.

Wide as possible, forgot to say

I find wide grip easier than narrow. I have started doing pyramid circuits where I start buy doing 12 pull ups, push ups, dips, knees to elbows ... Then 11, then 10 until get to 1, at which point I normally collapse on the floor.

I find narrow much easier, the pull ups the Royal Marines do with a pause are hard as nails though

He only done three. I can do that with my (left)arm tied behind my back!

I am the fattest person I know amongst my cycling circles, yet I can knock out at least 10 of them paused pull ups in a set. I would also consider having straight legs that tilt forwards to be cheating.

I made my way up to 18 of those, but I didn't have much else to do at the time... Think I could manage 4 now.
so anybody managed the 100? I peaked at 68 then got lazy and now I am around 60.
(thats on the last set after 8 sets of 20ies)
