KN60 BVD.
Drove at me on the Kingston one way system today, yes, trying to push me off the road after an argument.
Still fuming.Even his number plate spells Knob. (Actually spells Knob VD... Might explain his anger!?)

riding along a road with a pinch point, signs clearly indicate to give way to me. guy doesn't even try to stop. clear that he plans to just drive straight through me if I don't move. I point at the sign and he INSTANTLY leans out of his window telling me to move over, calling me a prick. great behaviour in front of his young son in the car. pathetic. forgot to take his numberplate. gah.

It's so sad that this is true, I think the most you get is 18 months suspended as long as you call 999 straight away and report the so called accident you can getaway pretty easily, this also works when running over a pedestrian in a car when they are on the pavement, just explain that the car acted in an erratic manner as long as there is no proof that you planned the "accident" you'll be fine in the UK

I'm gonna start running people over instead of having them shot; the cost of a good hit man is skyrocketing.

Being dispassionate, it is quite interesting to watch. Even before the lorry appears you can see that he is worried about something behind him - there is a large space in front of him, and he is looking behind, looking behind - I was not listening so don't know if we were getting horn sounds at that point. Anyhow, it is clear someone is right up his arse. Because I wasn't listening I am not too sure what the lorry driver is so angry about, did the cyclist shout something at him?
I have to say I would not cycle those roads at what looks like rush hour. Looks a fucking death trap. I would rather go to and fro across Blackfriars Bridge or Old Street Roundabout.

The driver's in a mad rush then has all the time in the world to get out and scream:
"I'll rip your fxxxing head off!"

Watch it with sound dude.
Damn man, some people just need to chill the fuck out. "You don't know who you're fucking with! Yeah!"
Wtf man. Hope that cyclist pursued that cunt. Although I do think he should have maintained the primary, it was unwise of him to give that cunt a chance to overtake him on that narrow a road.

The cyclist says Thames Valley cops refused to do anything:
The police do nothing....shock, horror, gasp.....and we expect better of them!??
Sorry but after this incident that was videoed (low definition on You Tube but HiDef disc supplied to TVP) and with an independent witness, guess what TVP have done....??
Bugger All!

Shocking.
I would find out where he works, speak to his superiors with the video evidence for their consideration. After they decide to not give a toss about a "stupid cyclist", I would proceed to wait for him outside, ask him exactly who I am indeed fucking with, and then knock him the fuck out. The cunt deserves it.

Such a shame, I know a few folk that I've tried to get into cycling that have had incidents like this and its just put them right off, personally I feel that there is no help from the police or legislature when dealing with folk like this, I reckon a lot of road users see cyclists as easy targets so I carry around a few splinters of sparkplug ceramic and my ULock in my left hand,
this is my next little project for added peace of mind on my cruiser

^^ So your tactic is to fight back if someone decided to bother you?
-
• #3193
Even better - find out who the company vehicles are insured with and forward that video to their claims department.
Nothing quite grabs people's attention as when you go after their wallets.

Yeah. I'm at work and just ran it in the corner of my screen while getting on with other calls and stuff, so sometimes I can't put my headphones on.

Ed its a real shame but it is, the moment the fellow came towards me I would of hit him first and then hopefully rob him of his wallet aswell,
I honestly didn't start out like this, but that's how I've evolved, I'm not proud or happy about it and tend to ride less and less on roads, it actually saddens me riding in the UK compared to other countries -

I know the feeling but in all seriousiness, why don't you take Cycle Training if you haven't already?
You will not enjoy your commute if you feel like hitting someone for the slightest mistake.

^^Drivers like that are playing with peoples lives. A lot of the time they don't make the connection between a cyclist and a HUMAN BEING. A lot of them think of them as pesky insects that are in their way of getting to their ultimate goal 5 seconds faster.
I've had one instance where a truck was driving aggressively at me, I approached him the first thing he did was lash out swearing, callingh me a cunt and all that. I said "you know, I have a newborn child at home (not even true) and would appreciate if you didn't endanger my life otherwise she won't have a dad to grow up with".
He made the connection and then shock horror apologized.

Ed, that wasnt a slight mistake, that was a full on confrontation/threat and the driver quite clearly a maniac.
