Tho from experience, without video or several witness statements met do fuck all. Even supplying photos (16mp camera) of cars parked on zig zag crossings seems not to be enough to get a prosecution for a car.

Also I'm on a downer at the mo as an internet biker friend was killed by a car driver going over a solid white line on a blind road area and no prison or serious ban. While another internet friend got caught by dash cam wheelie his bike, in complete control got a longer licence ban and suspended sentence.

It's an interesting one. I don't know what it was like before the redesign, so this may be nonsense, but it could be that the problem is caused by the removal of the 'gateway features' that previously caused more visual uncertainty on the approaches. 2018 picture here:

It's well-known that you can't just plonk a feature in the middle of a straight run without preparing drivers for it somehow, and I'd guess that since the construction of the rubbish footway tracks, it's less prominent visually. Look at how in the new design the crossing is inset into the tracks and not offset from the footway as before.

As I implied, it may have been a problem even before the redesign, but I'd guess that the new design would have changed driver behaviour for the worse here.

Does anyone have a cheapish, reasonable quality recommendation for a bar or helmet mount camera?

Got t-boned by a van at a junction the other day, because I am a (lucky) ninja i wasn't hurt and bike was okay but it could have been different. Since then people's sloppy and shitty driving is pissing me off and I fully fancy vindictively grassing on people.

I actually own an older GoPro but I want something that isn't so obviously a camera
