  • S1 for £95ish off me before I send it to recycling types.

  • I've been doing maths.

    Well, a spreadsheet anyhow...

  • You talk too much.

  • Or text, maybe.

  • I was more thinking that I used the 'net too much, but hey ho:)

  • That too.

  • for anyone looking to do comparisons, http://www.mobilephonechecker.co.uk/ was the best site I found at the moment

  • ^ great article. cheers

  • Yeh, good read that. I really think ICS is a kind of coming of age for android. It finally feels better than the competition, not just a geeky alternative full of bugs.
It could partly be to do with the stagnation of iOS but little details on android just keep popping up and blowing the iPhone away. One example is when you Google a business in the browser, instead of coming up with the phone number, it just has a call button. Lots of little things lime that have sold me.

  • Hmm now I want ICS. Tempted to install an alpha version of CM9 on my Desire Z. How buggy can it be...?

  • ^ Nandroid backup, if it's buggy, restore, takes +/- 5 min and you have nothing to risk!

  • Other than rooting or custom launcher app, is there a way of reducing number of home screens, Galaxy Nexus? It's frustrating when I have everything in folders

  • Huh, just don't use them?

  • The new xbox live app is quite nicely done.

  • Upgraded my Galaxy S1 to an S3 a few days ago. I was concerned the S3 might be a bit too big, I originaly thought they looked stupidly huge. But I've got used to it very quickly, S1 now feels too small.

  • Huh, just don't use them?

yeah, they're annoying though. it's not a biggie

  • Is that because you can scroll round the clock on ICS? I just have the far left and far right ones empty on Gingerbread.

  • no on stock ICS G Nexus you hit a bumper at each end - I'd prefer if you could scroll right round to be honest

  • Yeah, the changed that on the One-X. Another silly move.

  • 116 apps being re-installed from Ti backup. Have to OK each one... Looooonnngggg.

  • menu > batch

  • I did that, but each install has to be approved and then confirmed post installation during the batch process.

  • App whore.

  • Rooting suddenly removes the need to monitor/regulate installed apps!
