Lil, any recent Sony-Ericsson charger will do. Even from the street sellers. You DON'T need to get it from Vodafone. Carphonewarehouse are cheaper as are just about everybody else.
£5 from street sellers, £10 from a market. £15-£20 from a phone shop.

Is it standard micro-usb charger? I got my last one from ebay. Cheap as

Well I got my mum to call Vodafone anyway.
They said to go to their store, get them to ring Vodafone and they will reimburse me for the charger :P -

[RAGE MODE]
So, I go to the Vodaphone shop, asked for a new charger. They asked to check my phone, and told me it's "the phone" - and cos I cancelled my insurance (My bill is 35 a month, plus 8quid VAT - insurance is another tenner on top, which is bonkers) - they wont give me a replacement, or a cheap phone whilst they fix it or whatever.
I got really upset, as a mobile phone is the only way people can contact me in case of emegrencies by text, I cant exactly pick up the house phone and talk can I?
"Oh, get your mother to call them"
Arggggggggggggggh, my mum WORKS, she can't be phoning them on my behalf cos they cba.[/rant off]
So, my mum's on the phone to them now. Idk what's going to happen, but it's my fucking fault for rooting it.
So I'm probably going to have to buy a new handset. So if anyone could give me any recommandtions for any good but cheap phones for vodaphone, let me know. -

Did they have a charger available for you to at least test?
-
• #3385
They just took my phone to the backroom. Then mumbled it's not the charger

• #3386
Is it a micro usb socket?
-
• #3387
It looks like it so any microusb charger whatsit should work. What's the specs on the transformer?
-
• #3388
Yeah. It's okay, mum just got off them. They're sending a replacement phone.
-
• #3389
Transformer?
-
• #3390
if your phone has stopped working, it should be under manufacturers waranty. Tell them it's regardless of insurance, the phone is covered by warranty and it is their problem to fix or replace it.
-
• #3391
I rooted it though.
-
• #3392
are they aware of this?
-
• #3393
No

"I recently bought an Xperia X10 from O2, and there was a USB car charger included.. As far
as I can tell it doesn't work - the phone doesn't seem to charge from the car socket. But I do
have a USB car charger plug/adapter thing from a different gadget, and I'm wondering if it's
safe to use it for my phone.
The O2 charger plug doesn't have any specs on it. The mains plug does, and says it puts
out 5V at 700mA. The alternate car charger puts out 5V at 650mA. So my question is, is
it going to cause any damage to use a lower-than-specified amperage for the phone? I
can imagine it being unhealthy to use too high, but I'm not up on electronics so much so I'd
appreciate some advice."I've got a charger here that says 5V at 1000mA.
I would try another charger before sending the phone in.

I dont know anyone with a bb charger, everyone's either Nokia or Iphone. :|
Yeah my mum has to call for me, and normally has to deal with my temper if I disagree with them. She's amazing though.
If it doesn't work, then it's definitely the charger, then I'll happily walk back to the shop, and sit there to the manager and refuse to move this time until they give me a replacement charger.
is it same new sony ericcson charger what look like this
