Depends on which version you have, and what software. ANyway, this should set you good:

Maybe. I haven't read much of it.. But you'll know when someone posts a working ROM - there will suddenly be a huge rush of activity :)

The Orange San Francisco phone is the ZTE Blade for non-UK markets.
Anyone know how to get the ZTE Blade here in the UK, or from a cheap source in Europe? -

Anyone know how to get the ZTE Blade here in the UK, or from a cheap source in Europe? No, but it is being released in China (at some point) with 2.2, which gives hope for custom ROMs. At the moment the devs at MoDaCo are struggling with kernal issues but it should come at some point :)

^You think you are going to find one for less than £80-100? People are unlocking them and selling them on Ebay for £140+ and Heros locked to T-mobile are still going for £130-150 second hand.
Sounds like they are good value already.

Yep. And with various ways to get money off, I'm just waiting till I get paid before grabbing one :)

Been using Dropbox on android for a little bit this morning, really enjoying it. I can take pictures on my phone, copy them over to drop box and they will appear on my work and home pc instantly, how bloody clever is that?
-
• #3037
I save all of my work to dropbox. This has proved useful when needing to print something off and only having my phone. Dropbox ftw.
Also, I had a catastrophic HD failure (catastrophic!) about 2/3 months ago. Were it not for dropbox, I would have lost a years worth of my PhD. (not entirely true - before dropbox I would occasionally email myself documents for safe keeping).

Dropbox is awesome. One of the few apps I have I could see myself paying for.

How do any of you people have any time for anything other than Angry Birds?
*eyes open wide in amazement*

Is the full version out now?
-
• #3041
I dunno. I just keep replaying levels 4, 8, 12. That'll do it for me.

I second this - although it does seem pricey. One of the great things is that you get more space for people you refer to dropbox. Upto a maximum of 8gb, persuade everyone to join!
To be honest though I'd struggle to fill 8gb with important personal stuff. Work stuff I'd fill it easily but then work can pay for it as well!

I would play it but noooo Im stuck on 1.6 :P

Told you not to buy that stupid Sony phone.

Slightly larger screen (also bigger/heavier) but it's not an OLED screen = Fail.
Better camera for sure but only running Android 1.6 and hampered by Sony's UI.
Nexus wins. One thing I've not considered is cost. How much is the Xperia?
Oh, while I'm at it. Nexus One does multi-touch now and gets Android updates before any other phone.
Nice try. X10 will be updated to Android 2.1 nearly immediately, though there is talk that its release is being held back, so that it comes loaded with Android 2.1, AND Adobe Flash 10.1.
hippy is always right. LOLs ;)

Vodafone gave me a new phone, no down-time involved.
So- quote the sale of goods act to them if you have a problem.
ANYWAY- I backed up my phone using MyBackup Pro, to their online storage.
Swapped handset, re-downloaded the app and hit "restore data".
It then restored my data perfectly- if your definition of perfectly is significantly different to mine.
It re-loaded all the appointments in my calendar, going back to June/July, and emailed invites to every person involved in those meetings. Literally hundreds, conceivably thousands of meeting requests going to colleagues, customers, suppliers and so forth- all for meetings in the past.
I received some very dry responses...

Yeah, but at least it does have an Exit button, a lot of old apps didn't bother to let you shut them down.
Not a n00b question. AFAIK those are the files that make up the various ROMs that X10's have shipped with, the idea being to provide them as a resource for anyone wanting to create a new ROM, but they won't give you anything different except possibly for some different localisations.
I would follow this thread, since Cyanogen Mod is about the best base for a custom ROM you can get :)

May I recommend Froyod 1.5 - its a really good 2.2 ROM for the Hero. Had it for about a month now, and works lovely
