^^Do you not have all your contacts saved to your gmail account? You'll never lose them again, even without a phone in the middle of the jungle, if you can find a tiger with internet access you can get your mum's number and she'll come pick you up.

Assuming the tiger has cell signal too.

only the cheetahs get reception as they're on sprint

If you were stuck on the plains or the serengeti then that would be relevant.

I thought I did, I go to Accounts>Google>my email and it shows everything ticked - calendar, contacts, the lot.
But when I first got CM running, let it spend a while getting everything going, apps downloaded and so forth but no contacts. Well, two contacts. Checked then and everything was set to sync but it obviously hadn't. Didn't dick about as it was about 11pm, so reverted back to touchwiz, backed it all up then loaded CM again.

Can you see all your contacts through gmail? If not you probably didn't change the S3s default which is to save them to the samsung account, probably worth exporting them from that and then into google, so they know everything about you.

I've used all sorts of battery packs and that's probably my favourite....but bulky though. My evryday one is this EasyAcc® iChoc 5000mAh 2.5A Dual Port Fast Charging Ultra-Slim PowerBank built-in Micro-USB Cable and LED Flashlight Portable External Battery Charger Pack for iPhone 5S 5C 4S (Apple adapters not included), Andorid Smartphone, Tablets, Bluetooth Speakers headset, Google Glass, Gopro and other devices - Matte Black: Amazon.co.uk: Computers & Accessories
Handy cos its quite a bit slimmer and the microUSB cable is built in......much lower capacity tho... ya pays yer money......Sweet.
Cheers.
Do you use this with a phone or tablet?

Yep, although using the superbackup utility I had 500 and something contacts and gmail's only got 370 or so. All with numbers etc and can't spot which ones are missing.

I use it with phones, bluetooth headset, even bike lights if I get caught out! Unfortunately my tablet is an asus Transformer that takes 19v.... Must get a N7 soon!

Cool, cheers, was curious as to how many charges I'd get on the tablet with it.

I'm going to guess you'd get maybe 1 charge of the N7... the 5000mAH one claims to charge an iphone "2 to 2.5 times". Iphone 5 has a 1440mAH battery, N7 is 3950mAH. My electronics knowledge is pretty poor though, to be honest.

As is mine.
I need these things in idiot format.

If you need a rugid/waterproof charger* these are on offer at Maplin
http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?ModuleNo=853750&TabID=1&QV=Y
*Not quite as cheap as the higher capacity one listed above, but doesn't matter if it gets wet camping etc (Not that you would charge a tablet/phone it the rain!)

Only a 1A output though. Should charge an N7 2013 (I charge my N7 from my N4 charger) but will take longer.

I think my Anker Astro3E (37Wh) will output 3A@5V, so given the inverse relationship between demand and capacity, it could be emptied in 3 hours. Does have two outputs though.

Weird, you might be able to export them all from both and merge like hippy, get rid of duplicates then import to gmail. Odd that the phone didn't pick up the 370 odd straight away though.

What to do with it? I was thinking about using my 2012 model as a in car computer thing and using this as a day to day tablet.

Do I even need two tablets! o_0

I'll take it off your hands. You owe me £25 for removal fees though.
