Does "Okay, Google" work for everyone?

not sure I like the notification area at the top being white/clear - makes me think nothing is 'on'

Yeah, the white battery/wifi/data signal icons in that off white look a little odd.

Here's a question. Is there a way to "sync" notifications between android devices? For instance, I have an N5 and an N7. When I get home and fondle the N7, all of the day's facebook/email/other notifications are happily blinking away, even though I've seen it all on the N5.

Is there a way to sync so that when you acknowledge on one device, the other knows and gets rid of the notification as well?

anyone know if there's an easy way to change the colour of the icons in the status bar, the electric blue of the stock android rom is a bit jarring.

Easy enough if you're running a custom Rom. I have a combination.

TBH it was one of the main reasons I went custom as when I bought my nexus 4 I found icons the wrong size and colour.

It now looks like this.

guess i'll wait til the custom 4.4 roms start appearing then.

What clock/weather widget is that Cake?

^^^Set your language to US english in the voice settings and ok google should work fine (or at least it does with my galaxy nexus). Only works from within the stock launcher though, so you won't be able to use it from inside apps or another launcher.

Switching to US English worked for me, feels kind of dirty to me now though.

Only works when I'm in Google Now though, probably 'cos it is now supported by the launcher. Hopefully the guy who deved it can add that functionally.

Ordered at lunchtime today with it saying it would be shipped on the 8th, just got a dispatch email.

I notice that the autobackup feature for photos/videos and google+ seems to use Youtube for the video uploads. I wanted to edit a video it's uploaded to remove sound, but I can't figure out how. Any ideas?

Can't do it in my Youtube profile, they're not showing so I assume it just uses Youtube behind the scenes.

The case Murtle made me for the N4 fits the N5 perfectly.

It's still a great sale, but does mean he has to wait until the next phone I buy changes size.

Oh, and N5 still has a notification LED, so the cut-out Murtle made is still perfect.

Nexus 5 no longer talking to PC. It switches to charging but the MTP/PTP dropdown doesn't appear.
