I'm losing weight (worrying at this point in the training program).
Why is it as I drop weight my body fat % gets higher?
-

My ex-grilfriend is an absolute dead ringer for Pendleton... except she was a rower.. .which means she had bigger thighs. Jaysus.
Its totally uncanny. I want to post a pic, but i dont think thats right.
Pix or it never happened. And we do need face for photoshop verification purposes.
Your call; post, or forever wear the cloak of shame.

You are not using proper BF scales that have the "athlete" setting; or
You are losing muscle/hydration mass.
RU weighting yourself at the same time of day at the same, as near as you can, hydration level?

Athlete setting on the Tanita scales, yes
Could be hydration mass. I weigh myself pretty much the same time each morning so naturally dehydrated from over night fast.
Muscle mass.. Hmm.. If I lost any more of that I really would look like a stick.. So I hope not.. I have been doing 1-2 big gear hill reps sessions per week. Not high HR but slow, steady, good form "grinds" to build strength and, hopefully, some more muscle mass.
To be fair it is only a few %. Dropped a kilo (65kg down to 64) this week and BF is now 10% rather than 7% at 65..
Just interested how this is really

Gentle wash?
(I started looking through the dedicated swrve thread and saw people talking about nik wax etc, so thought I'd check)Right. That's good, because that fucker's due a wash after >1year of London on it.

Then prob ignore it, and monitor long-term trend (month to month). Obviously, the lower your BF%, the more the reading varies due to other factors - like water composition. You may be losing a bit of upper body perhaps-ensure you do some light trunk chest and arms work, not least to preserve core stab. Then see how it goes.

It must be humming!
The waterproofing goes after 3 or 4 washes but I've got some reproofing stuff that restores it, which I bought in Snow & Rock I think.

Well, I try not to hang around people for too long when I wear it. And I notice that it's never gone missing at a drinks.....
Perhaps I shouldn't wash it. -

thanks.

The Euston Flyer at Euston is alright. It normally has decent beer available.
It's also Enrique Inglesias's favourite pub. FACT!

Bree Louise or Euston Tap, don't know about opening hours/ days, though.

I rent a flat through a lettings agency and need some repairs done.
Should the agency hold keys to the property so that the contractor can gain access? They deflected the issue when I asked.
Otherwise I will have to take leave from work to be home to let them in, and that sounds out of order.

The Tap sounds better. I was wondering what they'd done with that little thingie outside Euston, it sounds good.
Damn you Enrique. Damn you and your poor pub judgement.

Cheers bigtwin.. Should really check the water comp as well but typically obsessed with weight and fat.. I do daily 20/30 mins core work for stability and some light upper body stuff (find it helps out of the saddle climbing speed).

Downloaded that highly professional digital audio tool 'Garageband 11' last night from the mac app store on my shitty 56k internet connection. Took a long time. Downloaded some lessons today (as part of a very drawn out process of teaching myself to play keys. I have a Yahama Portable Grand NP-30 which I've been fiddling around on and on a previous version of Garageband I remember connecting it and making da music.
This time,no such luck. I'm plugging it in using a Midi-to-USB converter, the same device I've used before.
I've plugged it in while GB is open and a pop up appears saying 'woah, you've just plugged in a midi device, go you!' or words to that extent, yet when I try and mash the keys with my fat fingers no noise comes out. I've tried fiddling with audio input and output settings but to no avail. I've created a software instrument, at least I think I have. I've tried using a 'Keyboard Collection' project which has a bunch of built in software instruments right?
Anyway, google has proved fruitless, anyone here able to spot the obvious mistake and let me know what I've missed?
When I play the lessons it's recognising that I have a keyboard connected. Just no joy getting any sound out of the bastard.

Solution:
Switched the In/Out leads on the Midi-usb converter despite being clearly labelled otherwise. So In on cable goes to Out on device and vice versa. Fucking stupid but it works.

Which is correct:
*- John is closing the door and stops, still.
- John is closing the door and stops still. *
?
- John is closing the door and stops still. *

the second one

Depends on what you are trying to say. Do you mean he still does not continue his journey, despite closing the door, or that he ceases to move during the actual act of closing the door?

Which is correct:
*- John is closing the door and stops, still.
- John is closing the door and stops still. *
?
Neither...
IMHO you should rewrite. The first one: the bit after the comma doesn't mean anything. Second one: he can't be still and be closing the door at the same time- it's ambiguous.
- John is closing the door and stops still. *
