  • Not sure about the chrome on a carbon frame. Maybe with black grips.

    Thanks guys.

  • remembered one more: Nitto B123's are available in os too

  • What bartape is this?
the bike is from 1971 though the frame was apparently repaired and repainted by Mercian in 2009-1010. Bars are Cinelli Giro d'Italia. i've asked the guy but no reply
    cheers

  • Velox Tressorex?

  • thanks , looks a good bet. Good for a touring bike do you think?

  • Only if you want to look retro at the expense of comfort.

  • Yes you're right, pointless on a 90's bike anyway, thanks

  • Where are the bars again?

  • Those chrome bars were moustashe bars before Hoy rode on em

  • fuck! that pic of Hoy.
and to think streaks of piss on here were worried about snapping chains because of their awesome power and needing double straps.

You forgot that I have to cover ten times longer route to get to the pub than Hoy on the track.

Your humour never passed slappped the bald guy on the head and chasing the girls in lingerie.

  • My ex-grilfriend is an absolute dead ringer for Pendleton... except she was a rower.. .which means she had bigger thighs. Jaysus.

Its totally uncanny. I want to post a pic, but i dont think thats right.

  • Perhaps he needs narrow to squeeze between the black cabs on the way back from the track?

  • He'd want that stem Ed had, to flip his bars as well.

  • I'm not a spinner. I know that, for instance, on the TNRC I often can't keep up with people on smaller ratio's than myself. It sounds like I would definitely be able to tell that it is spinnier, so I think I'll go the one tooth.

I should have phrased my question differently: Will one tooth make a big enough difference to notice or should I go two? And it sounds like one will be plenty.

I love 65, it can get ridiculous on downhills (brighton, some of the TNRC).
