Then guacamole would become avocado and chips just potatoes. There needs to be some distinguishing factor - chips are not mash.
Or just call all dips 'dips', and all dipping-agents 'dip-carriers', so not recognising 'crudités'.
And beef would become a cow again?

This is a bit niche but does anyone know any examples of websites built on Drupal which allow people to fundraise natively? e.g. https://www.mercycorps.org/

Have you checked the case studies page on the Drupal homepage?

What's this worth?
If they are zaskar frames, he might be able to make £300 selling those on retrobike, then £700 for the bike looks OK.
It would be less hassle to offer him that and leave the frames though. I think with kleins, you need to have a look at it. its a trak klein i think, which makes it less sought after. Try the MTB thread?

When is the 2013 TdF route announced? The family are planning a summer holiday to the Alps and there is some general feeling that it should/could coincide with le tour? Also, will holiday let prices sky rocket during the tour? In which case we'll just book now and see if we get lucky.

what options have i got for a lightweight, quality 25.0 seatpost for a look frame?
i've read that the clamp in the seat tube is such that thin walled carbon posts can break.

It's usually presented in October and rumour has it it'll be announced on the 25th.

Harmon Kardon sound stick speakers, like these: http://macvintage.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/soundsticks.jpg
Mine have stopped working, they have power but can't get a sound out of them.
Any idea how to take the woofer apart so I can have a fiddle?
Thanks

and yes Holiday lets normally rocket when the Tour is in town, and when the likes of the Marmotte are on.

I may encourage them to book before it's announced then. We'll almost certainly be going to the Alps in July and if we happen to coincide with the tour then c'est bon but if not then I'll just enjoy my own cycling and watch on the TV.
While we're on the subject is there a readily available map of the iconic alpine climbs? My Sis is organising the accommodation and focussing her search around Chamonix Mont Blanc and it would be interesting to see what my options are around there.

I've got a pair of wheels that do not have a machined braking surface. They are painted rather than anodized.
I don't care about damaging the paint.
I'd like to run them with a brake for a while. Is this a crazy idea? If doable, would certain pads work better than others?

If I get these spacers, will i be able to remove the logo without removing the anodizing? If so, how? They are laser etched.

Im guessing no

You are correct. You cannot do that. Sorry mate.

I'm buying a bed. This is the first bed I've ever bought.
The size is 160cm by 200cm
I'm getting a mattress to go with it - also 160cm by 200cm - also the first mattress I've ever bought.
I'm buying a duvet or whatever you call it. The one I like the look of comes in three size options.
150cm x 200cm
200cm x 200cm
240cm x 220cmI assume the middle one (200 x 200) is the most appropriate size. amirite? 240cm seems vast. But the bed is the largest size of three models of it - so is the largest duvet supposed to be paired with it?

Super king duvet it absolutely shite. I've got one and it's heavy and cumbersome.

Is that what size that 240 thing is known as?
3 tubs of hummus.
