Or maybe euro king.
Here's the table thingy - trust me, you don't want duvet too large. It's sometimes better to have two single, but each to their own.

I've got a pair of wheels that do not have a machined braking surface. They are painted rather than anodized.
I don't care about damaging the paint.
I'd like to run them with a brake for a while. Is this a crazy idea? If doable, would certain pads work better than others?
I've done this to 3 pairs of my wheels and it's fine and no noticeable difference to MSW rims, and I just use regular pads. You might want to wait for more answers though because I dont use my brake much.

And beef would become a cow again?
That's standard talk in our family, after my brother once described a Sunday dinner as "dead pig and roots". Interesting linguistic trivia; beasts have Anglo-Saxon names in the field but Anglo-Norman ones on the table.
Cattle => beef (boeuf)
Sheep => mutton (mouton)
Swine => pork (porc) -

I once got lost inside a duvet cover for an hour whilst trying to put it on.
And it was only a Queen size.

what options have i got for a lightweight, quality 25.0 seatpost for a look frame?
They seem to have stopped making them, but you should be able to find a USE Alien Ti 25.0. They have various 25.0 Alien Al in their outlet store reduced to £40

I have a bit of a cold and my tonsils are swollen and sore. Is it going to get better if I go and climb hills on my bike tomorrow?

Cheers mate. Info absorbed.
It was mentioned to me to use cork brakes, or the brake pads you use on carbon rims.

I'd say it somewhat depends on where the hills are?
-

The hills seem to be on the bike.
This is worrisome. -

Cattle => beef (boeuf)
Sheep => mutton (mouton)
Swine => pork (porc)Due to French being the language of the oppressive Norman overlords.
There's a good book called 'Words apart: The language of prejudice' by Jonathon Green which may appeal to you... -

Is it possible to easily measure what size bolt you need?
On my Van Nicholas frame I need 2 bolts for the front mud guard and 2 for the back. The ones on the back are are bigger. I think the front ones are M6.
Next question - if I order said bolts what are the better ones to get - SS or Ti, does Ti need anything if they're going in a Ti frame?
-
• #34848
Easiest way with female threads is just to test fit a known male thread. I'd be surprised if mudguard eyes were bigger than M6, M5 is the most common size but M6 is sometimes seen. Screwing Ti into Ti has more potential for galling, but whatever you use you need to lubricate the threads with Copaslip or similar.

Any recommendations for audio conversion software for Windows?
I'm specifically trying to do the following. I have a folder structure (my old iTunes library) and I want to point whatever conversion software at it and batch convert all of the Apple lossless files into MP3. I'd rather not use iTunes!

lame mp3 encoder might be a good place to start looking.
