preferably somewhere not terribly out of the way between clerkenwell and stockwell. also, what is the proper name for them? (metal baking tray with indents for 16 cupcakes)there is a cookware shop opposite clapham north station which appears to sell everything. you could try there and it isnt too far from stockwell

That's spelt wrong.
"Houmous" is the standard spelling in British English.

I'd assume it was introduced for phonetic reasons.

Anyone know anything about Buddhism ? I'm thinking about joining and could do with some tips
Why do you want to join if you know nothing about it?!
My question, can someone recommend a gps+heart rate monitor (that doesn't involve chest straps)? Value for money being the next most important thing?

Fast-food outlets across the land seem to differ in their spellings of hummus. Leyton High Road itself will have endless variety. It's either to do with origin (Turkish or Lebanese), or signwriters taking liberties with the endless joy of boiled chickpeas.

It's alright. I've managed to find the bike fit stuff.
I'm sure I can find the other things as well. -

It depends how much they charge per letter.

If so, thoughts?

It directly translates as chickpeas doesn't it? So shouldn't the English just call it chickpeas?

Then guacamole would become avocado and chips just potatoes. There needs to be some distinguishing factor - chips are not mash.
Or just call all dips 'dips', and all dipping-agents 'dip-carriers', so not recognising 'crudités'.

No I mean houmous is Arabic for chickpea (the dish we call houmous, is fully known as chickpea and tahini, houmous ac tahini or something similar), guacamole doesn't mean avocado, it roughly translates as avacado sauce and chip doesn't mean potatoe does it?!
