I'm liking the look of the Rudy Project Sterling helmet. Does anyone know if the road and mtb ones are the same, just with or without a visor or if there actually are differences?

I have two Victorinox penknives that have entirely seized up. Any way to get them unseized or serviced?

Take them into the Victorinox store on Bond street- they have a service centre there, and the penknives have a lifetime warranty.

power straps work in a similar way in that you have to twist your foot to get it out, so you're probably used to the motion. But everyone has their first unclip fail while their mates are watching so don't get too cocky.

Didn't realise that - thanks. I hope sitting in a drawer for over ten years doesn't invalidate the warranty.

Heh, maybe call them first in that case, check they can remove 10 years of dust and fluff.
Actually it might be an idea to call ahead- last time I popped in the service centre was unstaffed, so may be wise to check when it is attended.

or just spray liberally with GT-85

Is there a saddle that suits the same arse and back bone geometry as a Rolls, but would not look too outré on a modern track bike?
-
• #30015
Rolls would look fine on a modern bike.
Turbo's are a similar in shape. I ride them both.
-
• #30016
It's a Turbo I've got on there at the minute, I've been finding it a bit of a punisher.

Went in to Evans today to try on helmets. My bonce measures 61cm around the widest part but the Specialised Medium (54-60 cm) seemed to fit better than the Large (57-63 cm) which felt and looked ridiculous. I am abnormal? Are all brands similar?
The number doesn't give any indication to the actual shape of your head.
Some helmets are better suited for shorter rounded heads, others for longer narrow heads.Forget the numbers and buy the helmet which feels like it fits best. Remember to try it on with and without a cycling cap underneath as you may want a hat in colder weather (Or summer sun if you're thin on top (Intentionally or genetically)).

What is/was the website for the bloke who films his commute and comments on "stupid cyclists"? In a positive way?
Usually includes the journey from Croydon into Central London. -

I've got a RH 8-speed something (I'll have to check the group, but it's a shimano) that I could let go for a small fee/ couple of pints...
I like the look of the Giro Savant, will nip into Cycle Surgery tomorrow.
