Will "light rain" overwhelm my overshoes and give me trench foot?

I've got a RH 8-speed something (I'll have to check the group, but it's a shimano) that I could let go for a small fee/ couple of pints...
Sounds good mate, let me know when you find it...

Proper cobble riding weather so HTFU and embrace it.

Will I fit an esb?
5'5", long legs, short body, ride a 51cm, but idea TT is 50cm -
• #30035
If the esb geometry is similar to a typical trick frame*, there's a chance the top tube will be longer than usual to compensate for super-short BMX stem and riser.
I'm afraid there's a huge chance it still may be quite big for you, but best to try one out if it's possible.
*assumption base on the Charge Scissor and BMW's Launchpad.

Am I right in my rough estimate of needing about 3 cans of top coat paint and 2 of primer to respray a smallish bike frame?
I'm just trying to work out a ballpark cost for a home rattlecan respray - I know I'll need sand paper, etc. on top of that.
-
• #30038
If you're just doing one colour then yes, you may even be able to get away with 2 if you are careful. And probably one can of primer, one of lacquer. What paint are you going to use?
-
• #30039
Ask Spotter. He got a nice finish on a frame he painted with rattle cans

Cheers.
Just toying with the idea at the moment as I'm thinking about resigning my beater for a bit once my gf's bike comes and my CP is finished.
Something with a 2 colour fade. These would be the dream:

...but I think it would be more realistically based on the selection at halfrauds and my skills (or lack thereof). Either way something bright, with a fade. It's currently raw with chipped lacquer so it doesn't matter if it doesn't work out.

power straps work in a similar way in that you have to twist your foot to get it out, so you're probably used to the motion. But everyone has their first unclip fail while their mates are watching so don't get too cocky.
Nearly went arse over tit today actually, but managed to unclip mid-fall and catch myself before it got too bad. Waiting behind a few cars at a red, pulled away and just clipped in when the guy ahead suddenly brakes and I have to lose a lot of speed quickly. Went over in slo-mo, as you'd expect. Naturally a few people saw!

I like the look of the Giro Savant, will nip into Cycle Surgery tomorrow.
^ I've got a Giro Savant, it's very nice for me. Pricematch is your friend
The number doesn't give any indication to the actual shape of your head.
Some helmets are better suited for shorter rounded heads, others for longer narrow heads.Forget the numbers and buy the helmet which feels like it fits best. Remember to try it on with and without a cycling cap underneath as you may want a hat in colder weather (Or summer sun if you're thin on top (Intentionally or genetically)).
went for the Giro Savant. It narrowly pipped the Spesh S-Works Prevail. Not because of cost though. I went in fully expecting to drop a good bit of cash but the Giro felt less intrusive. With the S-Works, I was constantly aware of a couple of pressure points, even though it is a lighter helmet.
Rode about 15 miles this evening and it seems great. If anything I felt like my head was cooler. Happy.

Cassette lock ring tool, probably. I'm guessing it's an SBB or SBBA, rather than a JP400
Is it going to be raining like this on Sunday?
