  • How much will a lawyer charge to certify a scan of my passport and phone-bill?

Is there anyone else that's legally able to?

Anyone want to dibs the task?

    Clive 'll do it.

  • If I wanted ti bolts, but black. Is there any reason I couldn't just anodise them myself?

  • I don't know any teachers that aren't related to me.

Nor do I know any ordained ministers. tynan doesn't count.

I got my optician to sign off some photographs of me for my passport.

  • I have a signed photograph of me with Peter Falk.

  • Think it needs to be quite specific - it's for a new accountant before they officially recognise me as a client. They said a solicitor or a serving police occifer.

So a signed photography of Peter Falk probably won't cut the mustard.

  • One more thing...

  • Nah, not really.

Any number of graphic designers round here- one of them is bound to be a copper

  • You need to find someone with Notary Public status to witness a document or certify a copy. This can include legal professionals, JP's and selected police officers.

Lots of people assume schoolteachers, doctors, dentists, postmen are able to do this but unless they hold Notary status this is not the case.

Some do it for free, others will charge a fee.

  • When is it acceptable for your bars and seatpost to be from a different manufacturer?

  • always?

It's usually stem/seatpost that generally idea to be from the same manufacturer (but still acceptable to be different).

  • When is it acceptable for your bars and seatpost to be from a different manufacturer?

As Thomson do not make bars, this will always be the case if using their seatposts.

  • ^but then you must have one of their stems.

  • I'm lost in streatham. How does one leave from this shithole?

I have Thomson stem and post on the CX bike, with Ergonova bars. and as you point out that is fine.

I'm debating using the same bars on the road bike, in my continuing quest to find some bars I like.

That'd end up with Ritchey seatpost, ControlTech stem and 3T bars though- a shocking breach of the rules.

  • I'm lost in streatham. How does one leave from this shithole?

turn left, walk in a straight line. Continue to do this until you are no longer in Streatham.

  • That's not very raven..

  • what? How about you use your phone, which is internet capable, to use google maps and find the nearest tube station.

  • What do u think I'm doing...doh.

  • Pop smoke and await the rescue chopper.

  • Yesterday, I noticed a huge crack had opened up on my downtube, around the bb. I have insurance from Evans / JLT, and I spoke to them today, but they said that kind if wear and tear isn't covered.

I'm pretty sure the f+f has a lifetime guarantee from Fuji, but I bought the bike from America, and if I have to start shipping things internationally, it's not going to be worth it.

Can I go direct to a Fuji representative in the UK?
