Attach a bell to the bedroom door-handle, just in case it's the wife.
Problem solved I think she knew the game was up last night clearly...

Quick question, what's the name of a bike company in London that will spec out a brompton on cycle to work, I remember Hatbeard talking about making one but I can't remember the name of the company/shop! Cheers!
-
• #19681
putney cycles do, they cover about 6 of the different cycle schemes
-
• #19682
Depends which scheme you have but both Evans and Cycle Surgery do custom orders for Brompton

Cool thanks, it's for a friend actually, I don't have cycle to work yet (soon, soon!)

Automotive question:
Why would someone looking for a good value second hand RWD drive car, demand it must be a V8?
-
• #19688
Because they are a colonial, where such things are still considered important.

v8 will increase your sexual prowess whilst a v12 will snap a knicker elastic at 38ft..

Worth switching to Co-op bank from HSBC? Getting a loan from Co-op and they'll give me £200 if I make them my main bank.
However, I've consulted the internet and it says their internet banking is a pile of wank, which is disheartening.

Just join and then change again in a bit.
Thats the only way to play the consumer game at the moment. I think santander give you a £100 or similar too. Switch it about and get everything.
Same goes for energy, no reason to stick with one.

I've spent so much time fucking around with banks that I'd rather work overtime at work than deal with them to try and earn a little extra cash. If I were still a student then I'd go for it though.

urban myth that the more cylinders you have = greater penis length.
somebody misheard "you are a big cock" and mistook it for "you have a big cock"
a whole industry of chrome phat pipes and window tint kits is based around this fallacy. -

How often is it a 1.1 litre Corsa that looks like it has been covered in glue and rolled through Halfords, versus it being an Audi RS4?

I don't know of any aftermarket hoses for those brakes. CRC - http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=20038
My experience of those brakes are poor. Very expensive and not that good in comparison to others. I had to replace the pistons and hoses on mine because they were damaged by the previous owner. Pistons were twice the price of other brands and the bleed kit was shite. I only used one part from it and that was the little metal nipple. Also the hose fittings were a bit strange, 90deg on the caliper end and a straight at the lever end. Complete opposite of what I'd expect.
I know you weren't asking for my opinion on the brakes but after using them for a while I'd never chose to use them again.
