is there any reason why i shouldnt get this stem?
http://www.planet-x-bikes.co.uk/i/q/ST3T4GX/3ttt-4gx-stem
it is so cheap it has made me suspicious
ugliness related reasons not relevant!
No. It should be fine.
But the £5 is only the 120 mm OS one... maybe it's a bit longer than most people want(?).

Do they do any bike setup advice as well?
Yes they do. Not used them for that though. I had fit and sidas footbeds done at sigma sport.

Cha'mone!
Anyway.
How do you extract flash videos from websites (on a mac)? My friend was on a terrible Channel 5 dating show (posing as a dog walker who is into origami, neither of which are true), and I want to download it off the site to haunt him with it for years to come.
It's here: http://www.channel5.com/shows/the-love-bus/episodes/bristol-3
Any ideas? I tried a firefox add-on but that only downloaded the advert at the start. Or would anyone be able to download it for me if you have the software (will thank you in beer).

Why does my rear tyre keep deflating over night...
I have put three new tubes in, new rim tape, checked the inside of the tyre for sharp bits, checked spokes for sharp bits, Im pretty sure its not a pinch puncture, having changed 100's of tyres and not had them before...
Its a slow deflate always overnight.
Any ideas?
Seems to have been a batch of slightly dud inner tubes, tested the one from last night pumped up high under water and found a tiny stream of bubbles coming from the valve core which didn't seem to be tightened properly, tested the other two tubes and seem to be the same... Fingers crossed for tomorrow !

Attach a bell to the bedroom door-handle, just in case it's the wife.

eeee heeee!
Cheers.
Now for an almost as ridiculous question...
I'm after one of these:
I thought they were called cantilever hangers. The only one I can find is the Raliegh one. I would like one that is a) in black, and b) has a adjuster bolt, like this one:
Also can you use the first one on the rear? And does it work as well as, or better than a seatpost mounted one?
Cheers, I know it seems like something that should be easy to find, but I'm really struggling!
EDIT: Found one!
http://trpbrakes.com/category.php?productid=1096&catid=188
Now to find a UK shop!
But the second question still stands, can you use one for the rear, and will it be any better or worse than a seatpost one?

Irishane has something on his sales thread. Can't tell if it has the adjuster though.

I have a Specialized fork mount hanger, surplus, as new. £7 posted fork judder no more! pm me if you want it.
Regarding the second question, not sure why you would want one for the rear? The seatpost mounted ones are adequate.

Cheers will do.
As for the rear, it's more to avoid any fuckups in measuring the seatpost dia. And applying the same logic as to the front...sort of...

And applying the same logic as to the front...sort of...
Completely different set of equations apply at the back, which reverse the feedback loop compared with the front.

Yes. I had a feeling someone might say something like that.
I was looking at the surly one, as it seems to come well recommended.

Depends. You can get aftermarket hoses but not in all calipers. Personally I would get a brand new hose with ends from Clarks http://tinyurl.com/65n7f5z
