hippy, have you seen these videos by the bloke that *isn't *Damon Peacock?
Yeah, I've known him since Tour of Ireland a few years ago. I provided a bunch of info to Quentin so he could take his club 24 record and he's a bit of a Computrainer nut so we swap notes a bit.

I'm at 2:35 apparently.

After a million hours tinkering and maybe a handful riding. It's ready, until I decide to change something; always imminent.

I'll show you a fit pic after the weekend. It's good.

23:45. Wheel pulled out at the start due to poxy Miche ti skewer. Time to swap it for a Shimano. Anyone know how much DA rear skewers are?
Didn't have time to change the saddle when I got home, wasn't too bad. I think I move forward on the saddle towards the last 3mi putting pressure where it isn't needed

You don't need a DA skewer - any Shimano skewer will be fine. I've been running a rusty, crusty old one on the PX for the last few years.
Use Zipp Ti skewers for the race wheels but unlike some I can make them work. kisses guns ;)

I must be too fat.
-
• #5014
Maybe too skinny. Not enough weight on the wheels to hold them in place.

beefcake!
BEEFCAKE!

Hmm, I could try eating more I suppose.
That said they'd be fine on a TT bike, it's when out of the saddle that they prove their lack of clamp.

I know, I have a few crusties lying around but I'd like a shiny one

Leaving the saddle is almost mandatory for long TTs. Anyway they were also tested them around the Chilterns. To be fair, Scherrit isn't exactly weak but he's not allowed to touch them because he doesn't have my mad skewer skillz.

It was Scherrit who correctly diagnosed that it was my Zipp Ti skewer that was to blame for the "tick/crack" noise when I gave it some beans.
Stuck a turbo trainer skewer in, no noise.

quite possibly the latest of the late comers to this but. Fuuu well done Hippy for smashing your own target and, in the process, everyone else's. Mental effort required beyond what I could image but those last laps sound like they spurred you on!

Sit on the fucking saddle! Your arms look tense, probably because they are trying to stop you falling off the front of the bike.

I know. It doesn't mean he's allowed near my skewers.

Looks like way to much weight forward to me. My elbow bend is more like 100deg than 90 and yours is more like 80deg.

It looks as though you could use a longer stem too.
It has left me depilated in two short strips.
Seeing as we're posting setup pics - slevless time:
