  • Depends if his gooch lasts more than 5 miles.

  • Pfft - they're replaceable.

  • Weight on arms as no weight on pedals, due to putting out no watts. And yes, as I said, I'm perched a bit further forward than when making power.
I can ride hours in position. It's comfy.

  • Does look like you are doing a plank.

  • You're not that skinny, either. :)

  • Winter weight. It's cold out.

Does anyone tape their number on? Using pins, and then tape around the surrounding edges to give a clean bond that air cannot get underneath and cause drag? There's nothing I can see in the rules against it.

    It's all relative.

    <<< fatty

Yes. I mean, not me personally, but yes people do tape their numbers on.
Have a look at CTT website header image - Dowsett has his arm numbers taped on.

  • Yeah I saw the arm numbers. So don't see why the same principle wou;dn't apply to the rear number.

  • Of course it applies to the rear number. I use sewn-on elastic to hold it down and don't worry about taping it.

  • Castelli Bodypaint skinsuit has a flap to cover the 'leading edge' of the number, so tape is unnecessary. Some events have instructions on the start sheet prohibiting any supplementary methods of number attachment, as they don't like their number stuck together with glue residue off people's tape.

  • £2 for tape is cheaper than a Bodypaint skinsuit and what they don't know won't hurt them..

  • Did a 20:23.
Massive cross/headwind out. Tail back, was in the 53x11 doing 35ish.

    Nice course, brilliant marshalling.

  • Where?

  • e2/10.

  • In typical fashion I ripped my zipper off my skinsuit putting it on. Had to safety pin it together. Funny looking back on it. Terrible to experience.

  • Skinny, y u so good? Please fuck off back to road racing ;)

  • Not that good. Winning time 19:44. Apparently the headwind died down though. Meh. Changing conditions in the UK. Sun, Rain, Sun.

  • Surely if you're getting training from Sean Yates, he'll be able to fit you up on a TT bike? ;0)

  • Smashed it. Nice one.

    Get bigger gears.

  • Thanks hips.

53:26 today for 3rd. 3:40 back on hutch. Not bad.

Some mumbling here and a few pics.

Oh and my CdA is about. 0.218. So okay for a first go.' See arms here.

  • Good efforts.

And you got to learn about the idiocy of CTT regulations to boot. Top weekend.

  • You're lucky, I can't get that low. Hip angle without glute issues or head level - though I could probably work on that but can see it causing issues with my neck.

Mind you, I do have to hold this for 24 hours. I've not tried to measure my CdA with this setup.

  • I'm putting it down to the watermark....
