  • Very nice, I was looking for a white one back at the end of the 90s but they were scarce even then.

Yeah the 205 was a go-kart, had a bad habit of overheating and pissing oil everywhere, but them's the charms of a vintage hot hatch I guess!

  • yup- especially french ones!

  • I had a 1.6, and then a 1.9 - great drives, but about as strong in a crash as a paper bag.

  • cool minkfarmer.

sam and african sunset i might come down to the palace, we should organise a meet point

If I do go, it'll be on the Sunday. And that's only if the track day is rained off. My Mini mechanic who sorts out my car for each MOT (i.e. does the necessary welding to gain a pass each and every year) is racing his Mini Midus.

  • mini marcos, never heard of these. way cool

nice panel work on mini, modified bonnet and roof sills cut/filled

  • I can go either day, but monday would be easier.
    you both have my number.

actually i really want the gorgeous baby blue thingy.

  • Mini Marcos are great cars, if somewhat lacking in aesthetic appeal.

And they were the only British car to finish in the 1966 Le Mans race.

  • lots of fibreglass scares me. although could do a nice vette.

Stupidly jealous. One of the many cars I need to own before I die.

The Rallye ^^ looks really tidy. Just got rid of mine after 3 and a half years. Missing it loads. You on the Rallye register ?

  • Your pug push at least 100bhp whether the 1.9 push 120bhp, not much difference really beside the obvious

your description of the 1.6 is pretty spot on, they're definitely livelier than the 1.9.

  • Does anyone have a trolley jack and axle stands I can borrow this weekend?
    Will pay with naked pictures.

Seriously? Can I please come and just look at it. Even photograph it? I fucking love the EVO 2.

  • The latest BMW art car, by Jeff Koons. An M3 GT2, which will be racing at Le Mans this year.

  • looks like it's going 200mph
