  • Credit crunch garage clearance?

How much did the Bentley go for?

  • was that the one that was on ebay a while ago for about 800?

  • 800 for a Bentley?

    :P

  • Got it for £700, don't think he sold the Bentley! Seems that he had it built up last year, never rode it and is now selling it. He said he has a few Rourkes (as well as the Bentley) so obviously not short of a bob or two

  • Thats a lovely Rourkie.

@ aserota like the Euro bar tape.

  • My 'Birds Custard' Rourke is up for sale if you're interested Ved 61cm smooth ride.

  • ha ha! not in the market right now pravy! but thanks for the offer! x

  • £60 frame forks headset.

  • I measured the forks are 1-2mm out of track and the campagnolo record headset is grinding like two teenagers at a house party.
It will cost up to £20 for a professional fork re-track then you're good to go!

  • Prav, why the sell?

  • got too many bikes, and £60 cash is the final push to get the caygill on the road.
Even after selling a bike yesterday I have 6 bikes and a frameset. Trying to skim down to 5, then once caygill is back the 'lego bike' frameset will probably go and finalise on 4:
Caygill Fixed, TI 12-speed, Ti MTB, Polo/Pub.

  • you aply the rule backwards N-1

  • i'm at 4 bikes atm. i need the money for the Raleigh respray at armourtex. no more for a while.

  • Yeah but Ved, your bikes are shit.

  • :)

  • Oh good I am not that bad. I now have 3 bikes, I just bought this Gios ...

  • Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat?

  • nice, i <3 Gios

  • NIce one Veevee - but didn't you buy a bike yesterday?

  • Well I'd been looking at the Gios for a while then the Ellis Briggs turned up which I couldn't refuse. One thing led to another... The Gios is mint but the Ellis Briggs needs some love and care so I can enjoy one and have a nice project with another one.

  • VeeVee 3 - 2 Jaygee

  • Oh my excuse is that the Ellis Briggs is just between my and Jaygee's size so we can share it. So VeeVee 2.5 - Jaygee 2.5

  • Aaaah thats nice. Very diplomatic answer...

  • Just made this rideable tody. Still need to get a brake and maybe change the tyres to something black
