Nice! Did you run a black marker pen over your chainring or something? :p
I have the same frame as you - As you said, very light indeed:

Nice Eddo. Take the rim stickers off though...
-
• #8362
debating about that, it would look nice removed, but at the same thing, the sticker is also nice and it's a rarity to find CXP14 in good condition (especially in 700c 36 holes).

Line the tyre logos with the valves and the crank with the seat tube and get rid of that inferior front tyre.

...and get rid of that inferior front tyre.
love you too sweetie.

Sexy time?

• #8366
Gatorskins FTW EVERYTIME!!!!!
-
• #8367
why've you removed the tape from the top of the bars but put on transparent grips? sexy frame man.
-
• #8368
Prob could take out a link from the chain too Ed.
-
• #8369
Lurvley, but why not completely wrap the bar if you're having the grips on the top?
-
• #8370
because half the bar tape is going onto another bar, titan stem with a flat sweeped bar, nice to have two choice of bar that'll fit the bike well.
gonna have to get it rechromed, then it'll look right as rain.

Looks great Ed.
Those nitrate-whatever chains are ace, mine is silent and i swear i can notice a difference due to the (lack of) weight.
If it were me... i'd lose the rim stickers.
-
• #8372
definitely, after a couple of day riding with those chain, it already gotten smoother and quieter, bliss!! well worth getting.
-
• #8373
Gatorskins fail abysmally EVERYTIME!!!!!
I know. Shocking isn't it?
-
• #8374
You must be putting them on wrong cos they are ACE tyres.....you seem to be the only one who detestes them?

Line the tyre logos with the valves and the crank with the seat tube and get rid of that inferior front tyre.
when the crank is in line with the seat tube what position should the valve be in?
should it be 12 o'clock or at 11 o'clock which would be parallel with the seat tube?
i think that if it was in the three oclock position it could look a little wrong or irksome.
advice would be appreciated.
sell the briggs to me vee vee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
