You sure? Sounds a bit dodgy making track cranks that are only designed for SS.
What about the Vigorelli Track Cranks? Surely they are proper track cranks and designed for fixie gear no brakey ride around in circley?
sure. there's a little bit of give between the crank and the spider. not much, maybe 1 degree. catch me at drinks and I'll show you

So I got my frame and front wheel back from the painter (Sam Fish), and its beautiful, really beautiful. Hes done an amazing job, and for a three colour fade it only cost as much as one colour at Argos.
So I've taken a really shit photo using my macbook's web cam, which doesn't do the fade or colours, or the filling of the cutouts any justice, but gives you some idea. I really do need a decent camera:
I just need a rear wheel and I'm good to go. Thinking of a white single sided phil, laced 3x to a white H+son with white or yellow spokes. :)
harry that is much nicer than the pink / blue thing. i'd go with a silver velocity and silver hub / seatpost / cranks to keep the focus on the front end.
did you paint the front wheel? you know they flex, right?

The Surly is going to Suffolk, Jaygee hasn't gone geared yet. But I have and this is the little thing I picked up from Basingstoke after winning it on eBay for almost nothing (thanks to Dmczone who gave me the tip). I haven't ridden it yet as the wheels need to be sorted :(
Ellis Briggs frame with full Campag (Athena, Veloce and other unidentified).
Bloody hell that is nice VeeVee and red too to match JG's Roberts

would get a cross top lever on that dolan.
-
• #8309
Thanks for that.
:-/

• #8310
true though, having a single drop lever is completely pointless.
-
• #8311
Well it's not really pointless if you ride in the drops?
-
• #8312
there is only one brake lever, he will have to ride on one drop!
-
• #8313
could fit a second drop lever though.
either way. having one is silly.

I ride on the drops the majority of the time on the fixed, therefore the brake is located there. Rarely move from the drops unless on a big hill.
I still cant decide if the MTB is good looking or ugly....
-
• #8321
Really ugly.
(well you did ask)
-
• #8322
ugly for sure.
but i think all MTB's are ugly. -

the gt peace 9er is awesome, come with discs and can fit 700c unlike that 26" version, but couldn't find the 09 version in uk shops. and the 09 has rear facing dropouts.

Picking this up tomorrow, can't wait. Not sure if to keep it as is or change the seatpost/bars to silver...........have to see what it looks like in the flesh first.
Also not sure about the brooks, only recently changed to an Arione and it suits me very well!
