  • Finally road ready :)

    Spec:
Claud Butler 531 lugless steel frame [mid fifties]
    Miche cranks,
Normandy Hubs on Mavic Record du Monde de l'Heure sprint rims with tubs,
    Brooks Swift saddle,
Nitto B123 steel bars and Nitto Pearl stem,
    Campagnolo brake levers,
and a Hi-Gear brake because it was the only one in the shed with enough drop :)

    Really beautiful.

  • Look awesome, the Miche crank is an oddity on that bike.

    Check out the TA crankset, they're lighter than the Miche too;

God, you are such a bore!

  • Nacnud, that looks bloody wicked.

  • @nacud- is that thomson going to be surplus to requirments? if so then let me know :)

  • @Miro_o there is a used tub and CO2 cartridge wedged in that saddlebag :)

Well the first ride was great but I wasn't expecting to use that spare tub so soon :( damn flint cut the sidewall "C'est la vie"

@TomD Saddle is great thanks comfortable from the off so somebody has broken it in a bit or my arse is just getting more used to them :)

  • Oh no X2! get the 4 bolt one quick!

  • Why? I've been using it for about 3 years....

  • ^ That Corima's gonna be a "head turner".Nice one.

  • Loving the Corima!

  • Not my cup of tea but shows some very, very careful thought and consideration. I do admire that in your personal aesthetics. Nice build Pisti.

They break, especially on standing starts when you put in the beans. Dunno, how much do you weigh?

  • Corima looks good, how does it ride?

  • Looks much nicer now it's built up.

  • They break, especially on standing starts when you put in the beans. Dunno, how much do you weigh?

Like I said, 3 years of pretty vigorous use and no probs....

    Besides, I'm only 9 stone

    ;-)

  • "vigorous"?

???? picking some black or silver bits from a standard list of track specific parts the same as everybody else. a cogitation of epic proportions. maybe he used a supercomputer to help decide on a black or silver thomson?

  • "vigorous"?

Oh do fuck off you boring cunt!

  • "vigorous"?

  • I like it. Looks like an aggressive custard.
