Following on from the pics of my bars, this is the next stage in trying to achieve a more back friendly Dunwich Dynamo bike set-up. In an effort to move weight off my back i'm making some new bags...first is this frame bag...1000D cordura...pretty simple, 2 compartment design.
I'm gonna take a little bit off the bottom to keep it away from the chainring, and add a small, hanging zip pocket inside for phone/keys/money etc.Next will be a jumbo saddle bag :)

Indeed went to look at the Bianchi Pista in Evens today now i know why it's called the pista it's what they are taking out of the people that buy it.

My latest... A Katana Extreme edition frame & forks which has received a few aesthetic tweaks. All the parts have been gathered over the past few months apart from the hed 3 which follows me from bike to bike. High Fives all round... really happy with the way its turned out, very light and a lot less twitchy than I thought it might be with the zero rake forks, absolutely no pedal strike either with large toe cages & 165 Pauls... Thankyou Szymon for sorting me out with the Katana! :)
Fooking yummy, that frame is a beaut!

Just as well I haven't got one then....
To be fair though it wasn't a bad bike(for the price) when it used to be £405 few years back but now it's £600 for a bike that's exactly the same(yet with inferior tyres) is the reason they've made a big fuck up and last that corner of the market

that's a fantastic bag mate, one thing concern me is that while the backpack/messenger bag are on your back away from both wheels, wouldn't this bag get unnecessary wet due to mud, water, etc. get sprayed on it? another question is does it get in the way of your legs? partically if it is full and the weight could easily move around left and right.
(genuine question of course, I love to see the development of that bag).

Actually after done some research on it, the price go up a bit as well as losing good component every years.
The early Pista (at least a decades or so ago) were Reynolds licensed cromo (build to their specification in Tawian), have sugino crankset, Mavic CXP22, Dura Ace cog, etc.
now? even cheaper component for shitload of money.
Lovely for a bad weather bike. What does your good bike look like!
